Finnish metal artisan and designer Laura Saarivuori-Eskola creates extremely beautiful ecological jewellery by turning old silver spoons, coins and recycled silverware into stunning rings and bracelets. Everyday objects get new lives in the hands of the artist without losing their original unique nature.
“As I look for inspiration, the beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. I’m showing people what I see, jewellery in everyday items. I try to use the techniques I learned in school in every piece of jewellery I make. I don’t want to make overly easy choices in designing but I also want the jewellery to state its origin.”
