Using vintage artwork, I have created a newly-minted universe filled with a menagerie of Victorian creature combinations from Lunasea Island.

All of this splendor contained in a body no more than four inches long.

Not five feet from our camp, was a herd of graceful, playful creatures swimming, snorting, splashing, and singing.

The jointed and spotted shell of the beast was armored, and its hind legs were strong and stout.

The tallest of them must have been five feet tall from paw to pate.

At the water’s edge, using their taloned feet, they wrapped their marine morsels in sea weed.

The beasts would take a lumbering start and remain aloft for almost a minute before landing and returning to graze.
