Our mass shootings virtually always take place from pharmaceutical, prescription drugs. We've had guns for 237 years as a nation, and the mass shootings came with mind-changing drugs. We do have people stopping mass shootings rather frequently. Barbershop in Philadelphia, Uber driver in Chicago, someplace in Washington, Church in N Carolina - but much more often it is individuals defending theirselves or their families on a very frequent basis. Now, if it hits in a way in which none of your criminals have any guns, then perhaps gun control would make sense until the IMF decides to take all your money and you can't do squat about it. Or, if like Guatamela - they enacted gun control and killed over 200,000 Mayan natives immediately. Our govt is crazy enough to go that route - they have no problems killing us now. If we were totally unarmed it wouldn't be pretty.

i appreciate humor that is clever. This isn't. It doesn't even make a point in my mind, but then i read about facts. Like how it is the drugs that cause almost all of the mass shootings. Like how the Aurora shooter did not choose 8 other theaters because the one he went to was a gun free zone - where 92% of these things happen. (11.5 X more likely to be massacred in a gun free zone than in a neighborhood loaded with guns) I think it criminal for gun control nuts to take away the option for women and the elderly AND the healthy males that don't have martial arts training coupled with a stupid attacker (or it won't work against a criminal w/guns) to disarm them when guns are used to protect loved ones and oneself millions of times per year. That is a true shame if the gun control fools get their way....
