Almost 30 Years Old And We Are Finally Making The Comic We Imagined 20 Years Ago.

Hi, we are two French authors working on a comic book called “Cosmic Power”. I am Aurélien Bayonne, the artist and my friend Ludovic Albertini is the writer.

When we were 10, in elementary school, we created a wonderful imaginary world. At first it was just for ourserlves to play with, but over the years this universe grew with many new details, stories and characters. One day we decided to make a comic book about all this, for years we tried very hard to put it on paper but we were never satisfied (especially me).

In December 2015, at almost 30, we decided to do it very seriously: “Cosmic Power” was reborn.

It was a new experience for us: it was the first time we showed our work to everyone and published it online. From that day forward, it wasn’t just a hobby anymore but something we considered our everyday job. To be honest, it was a real childhood dream to finally make this comic book.

Here’s how the story starts: Aurel, the owner of a shabby bar lives with his friend Ludo who dreams of becoming a scientist. One day, with their other buddy Big Pig, they discover a treasure by accident in the bar’s basement. All their dreams can now be satisfied! Together with other pals (a pervert cat, a “bottom-faced” man, some weird guru guy…), they are about to live a wonderful adventure.

In this adult comic, we can consider the protagonists as being bad guys too! On the menu: absurd and crude humor, friendship, some sexy situations, gory scenes, money and megalomania. Welcome to the world of “Cosmic Power”!
