Meet Hana - the Scottish fold kitty from Japan who came to grow quite an impressive fan base on Instagram.
The 3-year-old kitten has captivated over 250k Instagrammers' hearts with her adorably fluffy fur and big eyes. Her day-to-day life includes snuggling around, napping, being cute, and hanging out with her buddy the bird named Sai! Yes, you read that correctly. Unlike other cats, Hana not only lets the little birdy live in peace but she plays with him too! What an adorable and unexpected relationship, huh? Gorgeous markings, beautiful eyes. Real cuteeeee. I think the small ears emphasize the eyes too.
Ok, I could just add " Awww, cute!' to all the photos and be done with it.
We have a Himalayan Fold and a Scottish Fold both very sweet but completely different personalities. If you read below the condition of skeletal abnormality comes from breeders who breed a folded ear with another folded ear.
What You Need to Know About Scottish Fold Health All cats have the potential to develop genetic health problems, just as all people have the potential to inherit a particular disease. Run, don’t walk, from any breeder who does not offer a health guarantee on kittens or who tells you that her kittens are isolated from the main part of the household for health reasons. The Scottish Fold may develop a skeletal abnormality called osteochondrodystrophy, which can be painful or crippling. It’s the reason why straight-eared Folds are so vital to a breeding program; the condition occurs when Folds are bred to Folds. Avoid purchasing a kitten or cat with stiff or inflexible legs or a tail that is short and thick. Polycystic kidney disease has also been reported in the breed. It is always wise to buy from a breeder who provides a written health guarantee. Remember that after you’ve taken a new kitten into your home, you have the power to protect him from one of the most common health problems
Kitty on old time MDA. Perhaps not politically correct, but true!
Those beautiful big eyes are perfectly offset by the tiny ears! Stunning!
I have to wonder how much more effective would Puss In Boots be during his wide-eyed-ears-down-cute ploy if he were this kinda kitty.
Oh hon, I know you are completely allowed to have your own opinion, but kitties are wonderful!! And yes, I was in love with those eyes from the first picture!!
Load More Replies...I'm in love with #5. Can you by them In US or do you have to go to Japan
I want to hug him and squeeze him and call him my own;) so fluffy, but I'm worried that he might get sick bc of unnatural eye size:((((
Looks like the cat was already gnawing on the bird at some point. Feathers looks mangled.
I wonder why most of the cutest cats online are from Japan? I mean, all cats are cute, but Japan kitties seem to be WAY cute? Lucky Japan 😊
I would call her Saucer... I would hug her and kiss her and call her Saucer
Emily Graves it is Scottish fold cat, i think...

We're the shrimp carved to look like small fishes? They are so pretty. *drools* that fur ball has competition. :3
Here she kind of looks like a cross between a cat and a mungos ^^ heehee <3
UR MINE NOW! I WILL CUTE U TO DEATH,(and purr u to death if i have time)!
They were both trained very well. Neither is showing any sign of aggression or fear towards the other. As someone who has parakeets, I'm jealous of how trusting this one is (one of mine recently passed, she wasn't willing to be trained, as she was a rescue and had trouble trusting people, the other, however, is beginning to accept training. He's my social babu). I love how predator and prey get along so sweetly
Absolutely adorable! This cat cannot get any cuter! Is this y they made those stuff animals that has those huge eyes?..lol
This is my cat when he hears something,we call it doing the ferret
So a kitten, a hamster and a bird walk into a bar and the barman says where's the bird?
I wish I could record my daughter's reaction for all of you here. She is almost 11 months, and loves kitties. She squealed and smiled harder at each picture.
Ok heather fair enough your not schizophrenic your just a few beers short of a six pack or a few ants short to the picnic maybe even a couple bricks short of a pile! People who buy theses or promote this only exacerbates the problem and cruelty
Marc, I made my comment bc Caitlyn spews the same complaint everytime there's a breed that might be modified for looks. Maybe she should scroll past it if the photos bother her. And I have kept my mouth shut for many posts. I didn't want to this time. And using schizophrenic as an adjective is disrespectful to ppl with the disease.
