92-Year-Old Meets Her 2-Day-Old Great-Granddaughter For The First Time

Scott Martin, a proud new dad in the state of Washington, just captured a heartwarming photo in which Millie, his 92-year-old grandmother, got to meet Martin’s two-day-old daughter, Penelope, for the first time face-to-face.

“I think my grandmother here has been holding on for this moment. This was one of the best days of my life [and] I think it was up there for her, too,” Martin wrote on Reddit. “She was in love from the moment they saw each other,” he told Huffpost.

Little Penelope, who is Millie’s fifth great-grandchild, has been internet-famous before. An ultrasound taken of the little girl at 14 weeks showed what appeared to be clapping, and her gesture was edited into a video that went viral. Check it out below!
