Albert Einstein once said, “ If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be MORE intelligent, read them MORE fairy tales”. That´s the philosophy I employed in creating “Xmas and celebrations around the world”. An app that invites children to travel for a special view of Christmas and celebrations in other Continents and cultures.

I made this App because I wanted to show the Children how Christmas was celebrated world wide. I wanted them to be curious, to laugh, to feel emotional.. and to hear stories that they would remember forever!!

It took me 1 full year to complete it. At the beginning I though, how hard could that be?

And the truth, it was EXTEMELLY hard. it turned out that I had to learn Geography, history, cultures, songs, etc…

I wanted to include one country per continent. But the hardest part turned out to select which countries to include and even more, what to include in continents that do not celebrate christmas.

The App is called “christmas around the world”, and here are some of the screenhots!
