Ray Villafane is an Arizona based American artist who has been called The Picasso of Pumpkin Carving. He has carved more than 2500 pumpkins so far and is concidered to be the greatest pumpkin artist in the world. He said that even though the technical process gets easier over time, but the ideas are harder to come up with. When he ends up in a creative block, Ray simply starts stabbing pumpkins aggressively and hopes to find an angle he didn’t see before.
