Socially Awkward Artist Illustrates Her Most Embarrassing Childhood Moments, And It’s Hilarious
Kristie Lane is socially awkward and she has been perfecting this ‘skill’ since she was little. “As a child, I raised unholy hell,” Kristie writes. “And as an adult- well, I still do.” This multidisciplinary artist has shared her autobiographical childhood comics with the internet, and they perfectly capture the innocent fun of being a kid.
“My comics are all true, much to the frustration of my family. I’m an active walking disaster with a giant smile on my face and a slight pep in my step.” From inappropriately applying kissing techniques she learned from the TV to asking the pastor to pray for things he probably shouldn’t, it’s clear that Kristie’s early days were full of spontaneous giggles.

When my mother laughed so much that years came out of her eyes , toddler me thought she was really crying and got her a flower to cheer her up , by uprooting the whole plant from the ground 😂😂😂 Childhood memories are the most embarrassing and the sweetest !
These are great! There are more of them, does anyone know where to find them?
She has so many more amazing comics, you can find them online and on her deviantart page.

I'm so glad most people I know can't remember some of the stupidest stuff I did when I was a child. We all went through this period of misunderstanding the world but still, some early childhood memories can really give us chills.
I used to think "Canadian" was a language. And when I went to my mamas country when I was 7 I asked people if they knew Canadian
these remind me of me sort of. I don't have anything like the stories here, just I was soooo innocent as a little kid it seems weird to think of how I was now. One thing I remember, someone told me that people get fired for being bad. As a little kid, I thot "bad" meant almost everything people did that annoyed me. My mom is the owner of where she works so I would randomly tell one of her employees they were fired even if they wore some kind of hat that said "pink". I was weird.
Hahahaha, belly cramps due to too much soap eating! Poor girl!!
You were a sweet, funny little kid (and very literal!). I particularly liked the killing of vegetables and the putting of money in your dad's shirt!!
these are priceless! i dont have anything as good, but when i was a child. if someone was teasing me or making fun at my expense i just glared at them. my family end up calling this my stink eye. and every time i gave someone that glare it was just "uh oh (my name) is giving you the stink eye!" i still have that glare today. and my friends think its hilarious.
The facial expressions are spot-on! (But why use the Papyrus font?)
I envy her memory! I don't remember anything of my childhood before 12 years of age
Ahh, child memories, when i saw tv kissing and kissed someone else... (5/4 yrs old) I still have it..
