Tripod City is a photo collective formed of three street photographers; Charlie Kwai, Chris Lee & Paul Storrie, who collaboratively document different places from three different perspectives.

‘Gold Dust’ explores contemporary Ghana and is the latest addition to Tripod City’s annual series of publications following on from their 2015 release of ‘Made in China’. The project collates the candid street scenes of Chris Lee, the poised portraiture of Paul Storrie and the dynamic intimacy of Charlie Kwai to imagine new horizons and shift perspectives of West Africa.

Watch Tripod City’s short documentary ‘Papa Row: Rising Star’ to meet just one of the characters behind the photographs filmed whilst in Accra. An exhibition celebrating Ghanaian culture to coincide with the release of the book runs in Shoreditch, London at DreamBagsJaguarShoes until 5th August 2016 and brings together large format prints of photos in the book, hand painted slogans throughout and a short film.
