Tiny Spring: Illustrator Turns Random Instagram Photos Into Miniature Paintings
Tiny Spring tells the story about Spring and its natural beauty through mini illustrations made with watercolors, day after day, by Berlin based artist Kasia Haldas. Each day she paints one very detailed small illustration (inspired by daily chosen photo from Instagram users’ galleries) and publishes it via social media.
Paintings’ size is a square 25 x 25 mm and intentionally most of them are inspired by nature themes, starting from early spring flowers. The artistic project started on 20th of March, 2015 and will end on 21st of June, 2015. The young artist looks for her inspirations on galleries of talented photographers of Instagram. This is also her main medium to communicate with people, where day after day she thanks the authors of her inspiration. Fans of Haldas’s work can write to the artist and book up-coming paintings or prints.

Hi Natasha, I'm sorry to hear, that you have some bad feelings about it. As far as I know Instagram is a specific community and if your account isn't private, your pictures are public and can be repost and use by many communities. If you still feel bad about this, maybe info from my friend's blog will be recompense for you. Please check: https://imagesower.wordpress.com/2015/05/01/29-04-2015/ She always gives back credits to the talented photographers and part of this project is to discover them too. Credit has been give back to you also on G+, where Kasia posts daily miniatures (it's in her stream and in project's collection). You were also mentioned and tagged under proper post on Instagram and, we have checked this, that you didn't check it after posting. If there is a harm, Kasia always consider some action, but there is no intention to harm people.
