Turn Old Bottles Into Lamps With Rechargeable LED Corks
Some of our favorite creative designs and inventions are ones that use repurposed materials. The rechargeable bottle light developed by Suck UK, a room decor and gift company, turns old empty bottles into beautiful, simple table lamp designs.
The room lighting piece looks much like a large tapered wine cork, the bottom of which is a bright white LED light. When switched on and placed inside the bottle’s neck, the lamp will shine for up to 3 hours before needing a new charge, which will take an hour through its USB connection. Obviously, the white LED light will assume the color of whatever color the glass bottles are, giving users the opportunity to create both simple desk lamps and colored atmospheric lights.

Share on FacebookGreat idea but at $16.71 a pop, I think I'll pass - when they get under $5/apiece I'd buy them
Google is your friend. I found them online for 2.99 a piece.
Load More Replies...bit bigger cork and 18650 rechargable battery inside, that'll burn for a day or two easily
" cool beans" cracked me up! I thought I was the only one who ever said that! My Hubby will love that.
Load More Replies...They missed the OBVIOUS to make this better ... Color marbles or some media that would fit through the bottle neck but then catch the light.
And don't forget: filling them with colored glass marbles makes it even better!
If price were like 2$/each for 3 hours it will be awesome... I would pay 16$ for long lasting (like days and days)

When I saw it, I said "Hey, it's great ! I want one or...come on, give me 10 ! How's the price ? 21 dollars with shipping ? No thanks"
Great idea, but the charge needs to last longer. Three hours, not sure I would bother w/that.
I think that I love this idea. I wish that I still had all my old bottles. Maybe for my Daughter. I'll check it out.
some solar lights have hard-word (non-replaceable) batteries, and they don't last long, rendering the entire device defunct. does this?
great. but how long does the lithium battery last and is it hard-wired in or replacable?
Like the others, I think 3 hours isn't good enough. you can easily get small lights that last much longer. It needs a battery not a USB.
should put next to dime, or other coin to help show size. Corks look a little large & tapered. Not like corks from wine bottles I have known
after the pictures, it says "The Bottle Light is available on Amazon." with a link :)
