It started off as a bit of a giggle when I went to a women artists Christmas party and took an ornament that I made from computer hard drive actuator arms and wire. One of the other artists there looked at them and said they would make great earrings. Things went sideways from there!

My hubby is a computer consultant, so parts are not too hard to come by. I started with hard drives and am now taking bits and bobs off of motherboards. Eventually I will cut up motherboards once I get a little scroll saw. As it, taking the capacitors and such off is an adventure in mini blow torches, flames and fumes (definitely NOT an indoor project!).
