If you are a pet owner and a house plant lover, you’ve probably found that keeping both happy can be a balancing act. Cats and dogs often view our plants as playthings, snacks, and sometimes-even toilets!

 

My friend’s dog accidentally ate the cactus and after a few minutes started vomiting continuously. We immediately went to a vet and thankfully the dog is fine as the eaten cactus was non-toxic.

 

Then we researched the houseplants which are safe for pets. While there are many plants that are poisonous to our furry friends, here is a list of some safe varieties:
