Share on FacebookVery pretty, but I'm sure that these are actually capes (not complaining, I love a good cape) and most of these look like moths instead of butterflies.
i agree they aren't scarves they are capes or cloaks but not scarves and yes they do look more like moth s however i still would love to own one or two or....
Load More Replies...these are amazing. I wouldn't mind looking at a girl wearing this is public. It's like cosplay <3 it. But why don't they cover the head? I thought they're muslim scarves. Islamic hijabs usually cover the head.
Moths and butterflies are both Lepidoptera with the main distinguishing characteristic the antennae, which are not shown here. There are many more moth species than butterflies. The muslin fabric is more for scarves than capes and would certainly not provide protection as would a cape. The artist has an interesting concept and dramatic execution.
See, but we don't go around in the forest wearing 600 tons of makeup and pretending to be a pretty little butterfly. Just had to get it out.
