Being a mom is tough, and being a new mom is especially tough. Which is why this coffee shop in Sydney decided to put a sign in the window inviting breastfeeding moms to come inside and have a free cup of tea and some relaxing downtime.
“breastfeeding mums,” reads the sign at The Willows Cafe in the Sydney suburb of Willoughby, “pop in, have a free cup of tea if you need a pitt stop…no need to eat, no need to ask – please relax : ) Willows”.
The sign has been a hit with toddler-toting moms, and many have made the most of the chance to pop in and relax while they feed their little ones. In a time when breastfeeding woman are often told to cover up in public (as highlighted by recent cases in Australia and England), we’re glad that this awesome coffee shop is focusing on what’s really important.

Share on FacebookAs a heterosexual man I never find the sight of female breast offensive.
Unfortunately there will be a rush of perverts also who will be quite happy to pay....
BRAVO! Its just nice to see people care for one another! SO thoughtful!
What about the people who've done one of the most selfless things possible, and adopted a child/children? What about the people who've done the selfless act of rescuing, fostering, or adopting an animal?
Good for you guys! Women shouldn't be harassed for feeding their children, be it breast or bottle. As for some people's comments about "only show-off individuals get harassed " or that they should "cover up like decent people "........ Breastfeeding isn't showing off and even women who do use a cover catch hell. Ladies, the next time someone sneers or calls you out for that, detach your child and let them cry in hunger a few moments before returning them to the breast, then ask the person in question " now, which is more disturbing to you? Me feeding my child or them bawling at the top of their lungs in hunger because it offends YOU?" ???? Mothers deserve respect.
A beautiful gesture to new mothers. A touch of humanity in this... modern world?
If ever I am in Sydney I will be sure to pop in feeding or not... They deserve the business for being so helpful!!
ALL mothers should be offered a free cuppa. Not just the breastfeeding ones. The article said it "being a new mum is tough" so why discriminate?
It's because the mother's who are breastfeeding keep getting s**t about it.

Oh guess what I heard tea brings in more milk, just goes to show the god who made us knew what he was doing, can you improve on god? No
When people start bitching and moaning about you bottle feeding your child (which is what happens to women who breastfeed) then you can complain.
Load More Replies...Other people call mothers differently than you, a*****e.
