Just when you thought LEGOs couldn’t get any better, somebody comes along and creates a recipe for edible homemade gummy LEGO bricks that you can actually build with! Grant Thompson, the genius behind the ‘King Of Random’ Youtube DIY projects, posted a step-by-step recipe for how to make these awesome LEGO gummies.
The best part is that there are only two ingredients to these gummy candies – gelatin and water (though you can use flavored gelatin or Vitamin C, too). There are also separate links for creating a silicone LEGO molds, which is also a relatively easy DIY.
The cherry on top is how Thompson closes his mold so that you can actually build with these gummies! If you have very young children at home, however, consider waiting until they’re older – these gummies may encourage young children to eat real LEGO parts.

"The best part is that there are only 2 ingredients – gelatin and water" False. Corn Syrup would be three.
gummies don't stick together wen you are building something ,falling apart constantly no matter what you doing
gummies won't stick together when building something tried several times it's falling constant apart
So I've followed this recipe to a tee, and I am having a hell of a time de-molding. There is no mention of lining the mold with anything prior to casting. What did you use when you made this video? Once I manage to de-mold, they are also incredibly sticky - not at all like the ones in the video.
Doesn't work. First, he doesn't say what size box of jello (looks like the small one, not sure). Next, he neglects to tell us the molds should be lightly sprayed with cooking oil, or else the pieces will stick like crazy and pull the knobs off. The Lego base on top with a book doesn't work. Just makes a sort of indented pattern. Two pkgs of plain gelatin is NOT enough. They're wobbly as everything, and will NOT stand up. Lastly, there's no way to build with these. They're way too soft. FAIL. (Instructions followed to the letter.)
instead of shitposting, learn from your mistakes and try again

BAD Idea !!give your kinds jelly lego and later you might find them choking on the real deal
tell them not to eat the hard ones, if they squish and smell nice, eat it
Load More Replies...try mixing it in with the mix before the jello sets
Load More Replies...I love this idea! My daughter loves legos and is obsessed with the lego movie!
try adding less of the mixture or less jello powder, then it should work :^)
