Unbelievable Drone Timelapse of Minsk, Belarus Will Make You Want To Live There

You’re probably familiar with the concept of timelapse photography, but have you ever heard of a “dronelapse” before? No? Well, neither had we until we saw this incredible video footage of Minsk from the air.

It was taken by a Belarus-based photographer named Artem Pryadko, and as you can see, it’s a timelapse video taken from a drone. It’s a pretty simple concept but the results are no less stunning because of it. The footage was taken over Belarus’s capital at various times during 2016 before being compiled into this breathtaking video, and over the course of two minutes we get to witness the city transform with the changing times and seasons. Want to make your own stunning “dronelapses” like this? The photographer used a DJI Phantom 4 and a DJI Phantom 4 Pro+, and if you want to see more of his work then you can find him on Vimeo, Instagram and VK.

Seriously. Belarus? Nope. I've been there. Really nice people, but no place to live there (if you have standards for all different sorts of freedom). How should a high polished Drone timelapse of Minsk change that... It is not even beautiful.

...this time the Belarus' propaganda-ministry nearly got me, so close....

I actually laughed out loud at that title! I think it would take something incredibly special to get anyone to live in Belarus, to be honest!

This is a great piece of aerial time-lapse videography regardless of the subject. Well done for capturing the different moods of the city.
