According to illustrator Paul Westover, no one makes more irrational, emotion-based decisions than Disney characters. To highlight this, he has created a brilliant series. It imagines alternate Disney movie endings, showing how the stories would have unfolded if Simba, Aladdin, and other beloved characters used basic logic.

On the plus side, the characters become more proactive but the downfall is that the plots would probably get waaay shorter. Do you agree with the artist and think these endings make more sense? Let us know in the comment section below!

P.S. This isn't the first time that Paul has reimagined Disney stories. Check out his equally amusing and completely over-the-top illustration series which asks the question how Disney movies would look with cops in them.

OMG so true. Like, what did you look at all night, prince charming, that you cannot recognise her face?

Except the problem was that Simba thought it was an accident. Did you not watch the movie?

#1 I wish for you to lose the ability to remember how many wishes I've made... That's the only wish you need folks.

make the genie free from the start, now you have a magic powerhouse as sidekick, and free from manipulation, because "rule of the lamp"

You can't wish for more wishes and wishing for more genies counts.

I mean, it doesn't break the rules so..... You should've been more careful with the rule writing Genie!

Also.. "immortal" means "can't die".. it doesn't mean "doesn't suffer". If one of them got hit by a car and suffered extensive brain damage, he'd be in a coma forever. You can't even take him off life support.

If your loved ones were immortal and you not.. they'd all have to watch you die.

I wish for the powers of a genie without becoming one, so I would not be fulfilling wishes, just making magic for myself.

Why does "f**k" have to be used to make this seem clever? Hint, it's not.
