Tired Of Being Asked About Babies, This Couple Did A Newborn Photoshoot With Their Dog
Abby Lee and Matt Kay are a young Australian couple who have the same problem with their parents as everyone else: they won’t stop rushing them to have babies! So, the moment they added one more to the family, Matt and Abby celebrated it with a newborn photoshoot… that wasn’t exactly what their parents were expecting! The new member of the family is Humphry, a bit too furry to be a baby, but a loving and adorable groodle (a cross between a poodle and a golden retriever).
The person in charge of this furry photoshoot was the photographer Elisha Minette, who had the idea when the couple was driving home from the breeder where they picked up Humphry. “We did this shoot just for a little bit of humour between ourselves, as well as for those that share the same sense of humour as us. Everything went so smoothly. The pup was enjoying every second of it,” said Minette to Buzzfeed. “I think everyone will be seeing a lot more of Humphry in the future!”

To stop people asking about babies, Matt and Abby decided to do a newborn photoshoot…with their dog!
Meet Humphry, their hairy newborn!
The idea was born on a long drive home from picking up their dog from a breeder
“Abby and I have the craziest sense of humour and we feed off of each other with ideas”
The couple did it as a “light-hearted” parody of parents who do such photo shoots with their newborns
“People may say we have way to much time on our hands to do this photo shoot, but that’s not the case”
“We just prefer to be creative!”

I thought this was great... until I saw they got the dog from a breeder. And what about individual liberty? Is there a law written somewhere saying that you can't chose the animal you want? Stop living in Lalaland, if they didn't adopt him he would have been killed later when too old for being adopted. One way or another a dog would have been put down. It was a shelter one, next time it will be a breeder one who will be found strangled in a bag somewhere or drown in a river, or just with its skull crushed against a wall because it is so much cheaper than the vet. And I am not saying this because I do breeder animals, all the ones I adopted were taken from mother nature (cats mostly), I just believe in freedom of chosing what you want.
so adorable! and the planet is anyway hugely overpopulated so i am strong advocate on being childless.
It's so egoistic to put children in this world where you know that they have a high risk of missing the essentials: food. Because there are already too many people around them. I respect individual freedom of having a child but one thing is sure, I am not egoistic enough to have one myself.
I say have dogs--they don't talk back and you don't have to pay for college!

All I see is a cute puppy and either an un- educated couple, or just plain ignorant couple. Being a designer dog, chances are this puppy is from a puppy mill, and it's parents are suffering is horrendous conditions. Hope they don't have kids, as they will grow up with no compassion. Don't breed or buy, while shelter dogs die!

Toatlly awesome! My husband and I (cats but no kids) sent "Xmas" pictures of our cats to friends - we took the cats to a studio and had them pose with Santa in Santa hats!

Never heard of a "groodle". Goldydoodles, or goldendoodle, a cross between an golden retriever and a poodle (the same) are extremely popular as they are very good dogs... maybe they call them "groodles" in the UK or something.
We call them mutts or crossbreeds in the UK, people need to stop! Adopt don't buy !
