While studying medicine in university, I started painting as way to gather my thoughts and unload some stress – with the added bonus of getting something to hang on my apartment’s walls.
I’ve always been drawing and doodling astronauts on my notes, so quickly, they found their way into my paintings as well.
Having spent some time painting astronauts in the iconic Apollo-suits, I’ve lately begun experimenting with the cool Mercury flight suit… And also sheep!

I...Love...You. So how much? There WAS an Astronaut standing behind a family photo, its called the Solway spaceman http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-cumbria-27391210
These are so weird and cool! I get a, I guess you'd call it a post-civilization feel? Like humans are now traveling in space, coming back to visit every so often, and Earth has been left to grow wild again.
Is there a backstory for "Houston, we have a problem"? Why does he have a seconde helmet? Did an astronaut die? Does this second helmet (that looks smaller) do things that the one on his head doesn't do?
These are beautiful and wierd! <3 them! I would love to hear the story behind them.
WHY? You have the right to paint anything you like, but I don't get any connection between astronauts and sheep or anything else along that line.
