It was first shared on Reddit and since then it’s been viewed more than 8 million times on Imgur. But it isn’t so much the soldier’s rejection that people are interested in: It’s his epic response to the situation. I know a lot of men that go to baby showers. I can see why he might not get military leave for it, though. Wedding, or the actual birth of a child, maybe. But he's basically asking for time off to party. It's not like the kid is born yet.
Why shouldn't he be allowed to take holidays for whatever reason he likes?
