Yes, we are mad! We had a big dream and turned it into reality.
Since we are always trying to expand our boundaries on every level and always prefer to walk on paths that nobody has stepped on before, last summer we did something quite unusual, something that has never been done before. At least, not like this…

We have recorded an album on the top of a mountain.

Why?

Our Moldavian Csángó folk song compilation Pille (that is Feather) has ripened and waited for many years, ready for the day when we will record it in the nature.
It has always been very important to us to nurture our traditions, and to bring to light all those values, which we have discovered. While working with these treasures and adapting them, we carefully paid attention to the lyrics, the rhythm and the melodic line of the songs. However, we transmit them with the instruments of up-to-date sound technology and modern orchestration, all this in our very own way. Because we believe that the secrets lying in these folk songs should never be forgotten.

It’s not a common practice for a sound studio to move out under the open sky with its entire equipment, but it felt right. So we’ve made a genuine studio recording out in the wilderness. 7 musicians and 13 crew members moved out their whole professional gear for a few days to a breathtaking place in Szeklerland, Transylvania, at the base of Nagyhagymas on the top of a mountain and recorded their album called Pille.
We took the songs back to the place where they were once born: to the nature.
