For quite some time I’ve had the idea to capture the contradictions of life in Athens during the years of the economic crisis, not in a documentary way.

December, a cold month, in a meditteranean country intrinsically linked to its warm climate. Festive, Christmas lights and decorations all over the city streets.

Nighttime, in a country iconographically connected to daylight. Rain and umbrellas, elements associatevely opposite to its otherwise careless and outgoing character.

Urban space. Cities and their residents keep on living by moving forward or simply by staying in the same place.
