In June 2015 we decided to go to a country that has always been on our list, Iceland. The remoteness and untouched landscapes is what brought us to this island flirting with the arctic circle.
Having seen plenty of photos and videos of this country we had an idea of what might await us, but nothing prepared us for the sheer beauty that Iceland had to offer.
