“This dog has lived her whole life in the water,” a Redditor named power-cube told Bored Panda. “From the time she was a puppy, while our other lab was chasing Frisbees and tennis balls all she would do is wander off to the lake to swim,” he explained. “Just this year she has gotten to the point she can’t get out too far on her own swimming.”

So now power-cube helps his beloved 10-year-old yellow labrador named Hallie Beary enjoy her golden swims by being her “floatation device.” He holds her in the water so she would stay afloat. “Unlike most labs she doesn’t like to retrieve anything,” he added. “She just needs to be in the water.” The owner is planning to get a doggie vest, too!
