We all love our pets and every pet owner loves to tell stories about their critter family. Stories of love and devotion. Stories of bravery and comfort. Stories that bring smiles–and sometimes bittersweet tears for companions that remain only in memory. These stories pet owners share with me are the heart and inspiration behind the portraits I make of their furry, scaled, feathered and finned companions.
