Roaming around through my hometown’s neighboring areas on my motorcycle this spring, I discovered by chance an abandoned railway viaduct (named “Podu’ Ilii”) close to the village of Șinca Nouă, Brașov county; in fact being Romania’s oldest concrete railway bridge. Noticing the gorgeous landscape opening in front of me while walking that bridge, I decided to create a one-year photographic project, capturing a series of all of the nature’s stages & changes, season after season.

Although all images are being part of the same photographic series, framing is slightly different, as some of the pictures emphasize the bridge itself, others focus on the mesmerizing landscape around and beyond it.

It all took approximately 800 km of distance traveled there and back (including two failed attempts), plenty of patience during all those shooting & editing sessions (all pictures are stitched panoramas) but also lots of fun. Enjoy!
