During a year I took care of an amazing girl called Bianca in Menlo Park, California. We both had an obsession with Maurice Sendak’s book, “Where the Wild Things Are” so I decided to paint part of the story in her room. I didn’t paint Max (the main character) because it was her space and she was supposed to replace his role. And she did it.

Now we live in different places, but the mural still there as a reminder of a special bond we created some time ago.
