I Hand Cut Delicate Figurative Paper Art

Using a scalpel, I hand cut paper primarily in black or white. I began paper cutting around three years ago and have since found a single sheet of paper has endless possibilities. In a fast paced, digital world, paper forces me to stop, be patient and meticulous. It offers me inspiration, allows my self expression and affords my hands to craft.

Much of my paper art focuses on the lines and curves of the human form. Human behaviour and emotion intrigues me, and although the beauty of a piece is important, I hope the viewer is left with a deeper, more intimate connection.
