Everyone wants to be a mermaid; right?! Perfect beachy hair; frolicking with the fishies; no periods; luring men to their deaths. Win-win.
I started crocheting these blankets just over a year ago, and it’s incredible how popular they’ve been. And despite me also offering them in sizes for toddlers, kids and teens, adult sizes make up about 80% of my orders.
It’s meant I’ve now built up a successful etsy store, sending my creations all over the world, and enabling me to take a career-change to teach English just part-time alongside my craft craziness. Not bad for someone who didn’t even know what crochet was five years ago!
