A matryoshka doll is a Russian folk toy comprised of several wooden figurines of decreasing size placed one inside another. It is immensely popular both in the country and all around the world as the matryoshka is a traditional souvenir brought from Russia. Usually, the doll has some flower patterns on it, but I want to share the most unique ones that would please true art lovers.

Maria Rosa is an artist and a very talented person. Actually, her main art field is the wire wrap jewelry. The craftswoman enjoys creating some interesting and colourful things, ‘Everyone has a personality that can’t be altered, only highlighted. That’s why I dedicate myself to art: each piece I make is a unique copy with its own character.’

Inspired by famous geniuses she is also an author of authentic series of matryoshkas. I invite you to look closer at them!
