If I had my horse bodypainted, what would the theme be?

I’m working as a journalist and photographer in Northern Germany and am always searching for new creative ideas to realise. Then there was this project with Nicole Heyduk who is specialised on horse paintings – and I thought why not paint my mare Chanti’s future foal on her belly?

Nicole did a wonderful job and paid great attention that the horse was feeling well during her work. The photos I took in my studio afterwards surely are the most wonderful memory of the time when my mare expected her first foal.
