All the creatures in my picture book “Monsters Go Night-Night” are based off random monster drawings my son Elijah made when he was 4 & 5 years old. The designs are basically my Elijah “Fan Art.”

I thought it would be fun to see how other artists might interpret those same original drawings Elijah had made! So I created a new Twitter account (https://twitter.com/Monsters_Go) and hashtag (#‎MonstersGo). I simply started posting one Elijah-Monster each Friday.

I really had no idea if anyone would play along, but a whole amazing little community sprang up around Elijah’s drawings – Over 130 pieces of diverse artwork have been submitted from artists all over the world in just the first few weeks!
