Same. I'm cool being the odd man out. I'm too old to gaf about what strangers think, and my immune system doesn't care if restrictions have been lifted.

Oh gosh, us either. No COVID so far in my family, but the trees are kicking our asses. We've all taken at least one test in the last month just to be sure, but they've been negative.

Me. Been exposed repeatedly. Wife, in laws, my parents, my sister, my uncle and cousins, so on and so forth. I've never once tested positive. Everytime I'm exposed, I do 2 tests: one shortly after and one a week later. Currently, I'm at 18 tests. All negative. So, I stopped caring. Either I'm lucky or I'm immune. Either way, I don't need to be concerned.

Me too! I just got my second booster - so some folks think I now have 4 microchips. If they learn to work together, I will rule the world (insert evil laugh here!)

Legit. I've literally said out loud, "I'm about to socially distance you the hard way." In public. But none of my patients got it so I feel ok about it lol

I got to 2022 without catching Covid, but then I got it last month in march. I'm Covid free now. I was raging how I just caught it, after avoiding it for so long. It's because of the restrictions ending now. I still wear a mask but my sister doesn't.

How silly, I didn't catch it, got vaccinated and went about my life as normal, didn't avoid anyone

Funny how social distancing and wearing a mask and then getting a vaccine and then boosted just magically and randomly kept me from getting covid. I thank the lord. Only through him did I not get sick. (Obvious sarcasm needs pointing out because of Poe.)

See I’ve done all that - had three doses of the vaccine so far, I wear a mask everywhere, use hand sanitizer going into and out of public places and guess who tested positive this morning. I’m so annoyed - I’ve only left the house a handful of times in the last 4 weeks too. Someone totally infected me with the plague on purpose - they’re out to get me

Not me. I didn't get it because I never came too close to a bunch of raggedy people like these people.

Starting in 2020, the worldwide pandemic has changed the ways we communicate, work, and do our daily duties. Meaning, it all went online. People found new comfort in working from their homes, having more free time on their hands they would otherwise spend on dressing up and commuting.

At the same time, COVID-19 disrupted labor markets globally. Millions of people were furloughed or lost jobs, and others rapidly adjusted to working from home as offices closed. Many other workers were deemed essential and continued to work in hospitals and grocery stores, yet they shifted to new workplace regulations aimed at reducing the spread of the novel coronavirus.

According to the Future Of Work After Covid-19 report by Mckinsey & Company, the pandemic pushed companies and consumers to rapidly adopt new behaviors that are likely to stick. “Considering only remote work that can be done without a loss of productivity, we find that about 20 to 25 percent of the workforces in advanced economies could work from home between three and five days a week,” the report states. This represents four to five times more remote work than before the pandemic. Experts forecast that this new trend could prompt a large change in the geography of work, when individuals and companies move out of large cities into suburbs and small cities.

Another big change initiated by the pandemic is the e-commerce boom, which has grown two to five times faster than before the pandemic. Many consumers discovered the convenience of e-commerce and other online activities during the pandemic. Moreover, there was also a boom in virtual transactions such as telemedicine, online banking, and online streaming services.

Well if it's ethics you can argue that charging someone in order to learn about what's right and wrong is fundamentally wrong, and thus pirating the book is the ethical choice.
