When I was in junior high school, I wore t-shirts with ‘The Far Side’ comics printed on them. And socially, I paid for it dearly. But either I didn’t know any better, or I didn’t care (I didn’t know any better), because I was in love with comics like these. The way they presented the quarks of people and animals made me smile.
Into college, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in the arts. I was decent with computers so I majored in 3D Graphic Design. But this largely meant leaving my love of silly humor behind for a more technical path. Now years later I have an awesome family of my own, where I find humor every day. With growing tired of the monotony in 3D design, and with these unexpected times we all find ourselves in, I decided to take up something new.
I’ve always loved wildlife and I’ve begun sharing that passion, along with the passionate ups and downs of raising my own wild animal, in my new webcomic. Zoodraws is a project that hopefully makes you smile when we need to the most.
