Someone Posts A Video Mocking Millenials, But This Person Had Enough And Summed Up Cold Facts In One Brutal Comment

If there were statistics showing which generation is getting trashed on the most, it’d probably be millennials. Older generations are unhappy about the way they work, live and spend their leisure time. They’re being judged for their addiction to smartphones, poor work ethic and sense of entitlement. However, it is worth noting that while some of these may be true, it is also important to look at the circumstances surrounding this generation to really understand why they are the way they are. Not a long time ago one satirical video depicting millennials was posted on YouTube and it received a lot of likes. However, no matter how funny the video might be (not to everyone, apparently, as the video has also been called cringy), one person was actually fed up of being generalized and forced into the so-called ‘entitled millennial’ frame.

Yet again, the millenials are under the radar

Under the satirical video, which depicts the generation of millennials, one comment stood out from the others

In it, the person was blatantly explaining why the accusations for this generation are simply ridiculous

Many people had their say and were supportive of the views that were expressed in the comment

The generation wars are so stupid. The baby boomers are bitter that they aren't the front anymore, and that's understandable. Gen X is sad that everyone forgets them. They're the skipped generation. Gen Z is angry because people are so stupid sometimes. They're worried about the world they're going to inherit and how damaged and trodden on it is. I'm not speaking for everyone of every generation, but these are the opinions I've heard and seen. I wish we could disregard our age and just work together to make this a better place. Instead of arguing about avocado toast or the best era of music let's fight poverty, or elect a better president, or solve world hunger. Sorry for any typos.

I have a Millennial, and she is the kindest, sweetest and most caring girl I have ever met. If her generation spread as much love as the peace-loving generation of hippies dreamed of, our planet, (and race), will survive and thrive. Go, Millennials! I believe you are capable of everything and anything you want to create. <3

In his 20s, my dad bought a piece of land for about 500$ and built a house on it for less than 10k and that include a garage. The house is still there and my parents are still living in it. It's a fairly decent bungalow. I'm 35. After saving for 10 years, my boyfriend and I bought a piece of land in the same town. We paid 20k for it, which was a great deal. We built a house on it for about 230k, no garage and basement not even finished. Remind me who have it easy again?

More and more millennials are having mental problems like depression and burn-outs. One of the reasons of this are that they have grown up with al kinds of problems like the climate change. They want to change the world but they can't do it because off all those people who are denying their rights and having a comment on everyting they do.

Wait...my grandparents went through total hell to give their children, grandchildren, great- grandchildren etc a better life -- and they did!! They escaped horrible conditions in Europe not just to survive themselves but to give their future generations a better life -- and they succeeded!! That doesn't mean it's a perfect better life. Not to preach, but we shouldn't be trashing any generation including the current millennial generation. I'm a boomer, college grad. Got drafted and sent to Vietnam upon graduation. Mortgage rates were 18%. GI housing loans were not accepted because their mortgage rate cap was too low. First job paid $9,000 per year. No maternity coverage provided by employer. House prices rose faster than ability to save for down payment. The point is that every generation has problems. My parents dealt with WW II and Depression. My kids are millennials. One is head of cyber security for a large defense contractor, one is senior research engineer for a think tank and one has been President of a large retail company for the past 12 years. You are what you make yourself, not what you whine about.

I am so tired of all the c**p that they say about our generation... I know that it variates from country to country but in my home country the situation for young people is terrible. There is more than 30% unemployment in young people. And thats without counting the people who never could get a paid job (so they dont count as 'unemployed') and the ones who emigrated... I was asked two years experience to work as a cleaning lady and three to work as a cooks assistant (peeling potatoes). I could not find any paid job with a bachelor, two masters, speaking fluenty three lenguages and learning a fourth one... I ever had problems finding non paid internships for not having 'enough experience'....

I'm in my 50's and don't have kids but as a hiring manager you would be amazed at the number of kids who come to an interview with their parents or letters of 'reference' from their parents. I had a kid come to the interview drinking coffee and in sandals...the list goes on and on. It's rare I find a good millennial to hire but when I do they work out just as well as anyone. They do seem to have a sense of entitlement though I've never seen before, I blame it on rarely being told no as they grow up.

Notice how you are just downvoted instead of argued with? Millennials saw what you wrote, based on real world experience and they just got butthurt instead of trying to change your mind. Very typical. I've had to hire dozens of Millennials and yeah, it's a whole new attitude. The thing about coming to an interview literally with the parents is a 100% sure fire way to not get hired by me. I'll literally say to them that they aren't getting hired because their parents clearly didn't prepare them for life if they aren't trusted enough to go to a goddamn job interview solo. Never heard of a reference letter from a parent though. That's hilarious.

But also your generation is the "snow flakes" that need days of school closings if it's too warm or too cold. Demand bus stops at every house along the route because you don't want to go wait with your kid or (for shame) have them walk to get the bus unsupervised. And let's not forget a trophy for everyone because even if you don't do s**t you get a reward. Oh and entitlement? So your parents screwed it all up and you expect things handed to you? Well your parents also sat home an watched Maury and springer, were "16 and pregnant" because they just wanted a kid to be like their friends. Those kids wound up with your parents who sorta had enough of your s**t An said f**k it while you were out clubbing and being young milfs. Get over your selfs. Avocados are nice and so is guacamole. But Jebus on a popsicle stick, stop whining and do something besides begging and protesting everything. Go create and work hard for something that's not handed to you. I'm over it.

Okay, there is just one thing to shine a light on! The video is a JOKE! Starting with "Comedy presents". I do realize the joke of the video is to show, how some people see millenials. But we really shall just laugh on those; as we are laughing on the anti-vaxers and flat-Earthers...

It's fashionable to blame millenials for everything. Few more years and they will blame us for World War II.

I personally don't 'blame' you for anything, but I'm not handing you anything either without a LOT of competition.

When a Gen-Xer/Baby Boomer says "Back in my day...", who else cuts them off with "It's my day now, m**********r, and s**t has changed so much, you're still tinkering with your broken analog watch while I can use mine to call someone literally on the other side of the world."?

"You stupid millenials are so lazy, can't do a s**t on your own..." 5 minutes later: "My computer is not working, the font in Word is too big, can you please come and fix it..." -_-

Ha ha, you're one to talk about whining. If you want to go to school in -20 degree weather, go for it. Millennials and the older gen z's have to work twice as hard as babyboomers and gen xrs did.

Booo-hooo... It´s a satyrical video. Between the politically correct c**p, the people with "sensitive to everything skin" and first world problems, humanity will soon be doom.
