Take a step back and examine this situation: Looking at the context, it doesn’t look like this was the first contact this Ty guy had with the woman he thought he was texting. It seems like he was continuing a previously-started conversation.

After playing along he pounced saying he was in fact said chicks husband and started berating me and threatening me. I kept things going like I WAS in fact having an affair. Told him that if he wasn't such a limp richard, his wife wouldn't be cheating on him etc., etc. He then starts threatening me with, "I"m a cop, I'll get you, blah, blah. Stop texting or I'l report you, etc." I replied with, "Well if you are a cop, then you're a complete moron. The evidence will point against you as it shows all I've ever done is respond to your texts and threats. I kept this up for about 24 hours before I called him all sorts of vile names and then told him he had the wrong number. Bwahahahaha. Good times.
