Sometimes, people just don’t get along for a dozen possible reasons. But sometimes the main reason is that one person is a complete jerk and disrespects the other individual.

Case in point, some women got so fed up with some men who were acting like misogynists that they just had to turn to Twitter and write jokes about them for acting that way.

Scroll down for our collection of jokes on Twitter by women who poke fun at ‘toxic’ and misogynistic guys. Upvote your fave tweets and leave us a comment with your thoughts below. Be sure to let us know which jokes you enjoyed and why.

And if you’re still hungry for some more Bored Panda content, check out our previous articles about epic tweets by women, funny tweets by women, as well as tweets that will make feminists laugh.

Once a guy told me he doesn't like ripped jeans. "Well, don't wear them then" I said.

According to Psychology Today, there are some traits that misogynists exhibit that can let you spot them from a mile away. For example, while at first, a guy can seem “flirtatious, exciting, fun, and charismatic,” as time goes by, he may start showing extreme swings in his personality. A bit like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Misogynists also often make promises to women that they fail to keep and lack punctuality when they do manage to keep appointments. What’s more, Psychology Today explains that being outperformed by women professionally or socially will make misogynists feel “terrible.”

Hypocrisy is another trait of misogynists because they will allow their male friends and colleagues to do things that they’d criticize women for doing.

They also tend to put down women in public, steal their ideas “in professional contexts,” and even borrow money without the intention of giving it back. On dates, these ‘toxic’ guys always act the opposite of how women prefer to be treated; while in relationships they will tend to cheat on their female partners because they feel that they don’t ‘owe’ them monogamy.

I've noticed often people, especially females, talking about being told to "smile" etc....is that normal in some places? I'm from nz and I have major resting b***h face, as do many of us Lol, but it would be so weird for anyone here to tell a stranger to smile! At best, if someone looked super down or something and you happened to make eye contact, you'd give them a small encouraging smile maybe. But yeah I'd b pretty taken aback at anyone telling me to do anything like that

Yep. It's pretty common. It's a way that these losers try to control us. They think that if they order us to "smile" and we do it - it's a "win" for them. They've made us do what they want. Once when some loser did this to me on the street, I gave him a big grin while I told him to f**k off. ...///... The look on his face was hilarious.

I've had dogs bark and growl at me many, many, many times. Used to work as a vet tech, so I'm no stranger to pissed-off canines. Never, in all my time dealing with dogs, has any dog been angrypissy with me because I didn't smile; didn't say "Hello"; wasn't friendly enough; wouldn't answer their question(s); turned down their offer of a date; or any other 'you hurt my feelings' reason. Dogs were angrypissy with me because I was poking them with a needle; restraining them (totally humanely and no animals were harmed, thankyouverymuch): wanted to take them out of the cage/kennel they were in; had to do something uncomfortable to/with them; was trying to muzzle them; [insert one of numerous other procedures here]. Give me a pissyangry dog over a pissyangry man any day.

not exactly related, but once I passed a guy, cleaning his camping SUV, and there was that cute pomeranian of him just nearby, so, being a huge dog lover, just unwittingly made that smacking sound to get dog's attention, to which guy immediately reacted and turned to say hi, as for some reason he decided funny smacking sound was meant for him

Dogs are territorial as well as herd creatures. If you stare at them in their eyes, without smiling, they will interpret this gesture as an assertion of dominance, and they might not like it and become agressive, wanting to protect their owner. It's best to smile at dogs and then look away, so it doesn't think you're trying to dominate him.

Nah, if it’s you looking at women’s cleavages and getting backlash from them, don’t conveniently hide behind a generalized argument that all men do it. Decent men who respect women can look women in the eye and not look at breasts while having a conversation, (and that’s not just to appear decent). Decent people will be decent, and indecent ones will just show up, like in this comment. Once there was a guy who told me to inform a girl who had her skirt hitched up her bag, and he didn’t stare at her like a pervert or lech or make any comment on it. The fact that you’d even make this comment is your own indecency and disrespect leaking all over the place like a stink. Women will return respect for men who treat them respectfully, and just like the point this post raises, it’s not just male or female - anyone would return respect for respect. Generalizing when it’s convenient for you reflects on you really. That's not being clever, just a lukewarm sort of guy that’s got no spine to man up but rather sit comfortably and hide in the comfort of generalised comments about other men's disrespectful and indecent behaviours without looking at your own. :))

I had one instructor in college that was like this. I’d make a point, with backup, and he’d just pass over it and ask if anyone else had anything to say. Nearly every time, some guy would repeat what I had said a few minutes before—-often verbatim—-and suddenly the instructor’s treating him like he’s a f*****g genius making an original point! It got predictable to the point where I’d warn the people sitting around me to watch for it to happen. Quite often they’d call both the instructor and the repeater out and say that I had already said the same thing, and I loved them for it. He hated that. I do not miss his classes.

I'm so annoyed that periods are still fairly tabu even in the western society. Why? Almost half of the population in a fairly wide age group goes through them each month. It really shouldn't be such a big deal.

The other post that just got deleted said that the doctor was 'obviously a man'. I'd say that's sexist towards women. Perhaps it wasn't Bored Panda that deleted it. Perhaps that posted it realised he was actually the same type of man that this entire article is about and deleted it himself out of embarrassment?

"Men not knowing how things work be deciding that women are evil and must be punished" is such a good description of both of these phenomenon. If a woman should be convincted because of an abortion, then a man should be convicted every time he accidentally impregnates a woman who doesn't want to be pregnant. It takes two to tango.

Ive worked in automotive repair my whole life and found that women ask more questions and listen to the answers way more than men do. Its stupid how many men feel like admitting they dont know something means they are somehow less of a man. Sucks that women get the fallout of both idiots/misogynist and guys who are too insecure to let a woman help them

A lot of females do. I mean, not because of a stereotype, but for things like the fact that a lot of people enjoy cooking or,,, basic survival. Men also cook. It's not just a female thing, thank you for coming to my ted talk/ramble and good night. Edit: I noticed a debate in the reply section, no I did not say females because of military service and no it is definitely not an incel thing. I said it because I'm an awkward teenager who doesn't know how to word things without getting anxious I just offended someone. So sorry about that.
