Sometimes, people just don’t get along for a dozen possible reasons. But sometimes the main reason is that one person is a complete jerk and disrespects the other individual.

Case in point, some women got so fed up with some men who were acting like misogynists that they just had to turn to Twitter and write jokes about them for acting that way.

Scroll down for our collection of jokes on Twitter by women who poke fun at ‘toxic’ and misogynistic guys. Upvote your fave tweets and leave us a comment with your thoughts below. Be sure to let us know which jokes you enjoyed and why.

And if you’re still hungry for some more Bored Panda content, check out our previous articles about epic tweets by women, funny tweets by women, as well as tweets that will make feminists laugh.

Once a guy told me he doesn't like ripped jeans. "Well, don't wear them then" I said.

According to Psychology Today, there are some traits that misogynists exhibit that can let you spot them from a mile away. For example, while at first, a guy can seem “flirtatious, exciting, fun, and charismatic,” as time goes by, he may start showing extreme swings in his personality. A bit like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

Misogynists also often make promises to women that they fail to keep and lack punctuality when they do manage to keep appointments. What’s more, Psychology Today explains that being outperformed by women professionally or socially will make misogynists feel “terrible.”

Hypocrisy is another trait of misogynists because they will allow their male friends and colleagues to do things that they’d criticize women for doing.

They also tend to put down women in public, steal their ideas “in professional contexts,” and even borrow money without the intention of giving it back. On dates, these ‘toxic’ guys always act the opposite of how women prefer to be treated; while in relationships they will tend to cheat on their female partners because they feel that they don’t ‘owe’ them monogamy.

I had one instructor in college that was like this. I’d make a point, with backup, and he’d just pass over it and ask if anyone else had anything to say. Nearly every time, some guy would repeat what I had said a few minutes before—-often verbatim—-and suddenly the instructor’s treating him like he’s a f*****g genius making an original point! It got predictable to the point where I’d warn the people sitting around me to watch for it to happen. Quite often they’d call both the instructor and the repeater out and say that I had already said the same thing, and I loved them for it. He hated that. I do not miss his classes.

I'm so annoyed that periods are still fairly tabu even in the western society. Why? Almost half of the population in a fairly wide age group goes through them each month. It really shouldn't be such a big deal.

It's just that guys want to be the only ones allowed to judge on appearance. 100-200 years ago, all a man needed was a good job and he could get a wife. Now that women have jobs, we have more say in what kind of man we want to marry and the men with positive human qualities are being chosen over guys who just have jobs. Men need to catch up.

I don't think this one is fair. Women judge men based on their bodies too, especially on a dating app. Not all women do that, but same with men judging women. It's not really a gendered thing. And not always the opposite gender. And it's not even always the obvious "I want someone thin and good-looking" - sometimes people get dismissed if they're too fit, because of tacit assumptions about what's important to them. A lot of these apps are built in a way that fundamentally encourages summary judgement based on 1-3 photos and a few sentences. Online dating is a mess.

In the old days, they had dating want-ads in newspapers. Almost all of the "Men seeking Women" requested that she must be "fit, weight appropriate, 10 to 20 years younger than himself, and attractive." All the "Women seeking Men" requested " gainfully employed, disease and drug free, not married, no alcoholics," (Hope this gives someone a laugh)

I know I'm gonna get downvoted for this :( (I don't want to offend anyone) but I don't think that the term 'men need to catch up' is very fair because it generalises the gender (I know that both genders are generalised, chill) I just see that kind of thing a lot (like 'men just need to accept equality') and wanted to point it out cause some of us DO. I overall agree with this post though

Asking questions sometimes does get downvotes, no idea why. It is meant to be from the point of view of women caring how tall the man is with men disliking this 'fact' despite judging women on how they look. That is the point being made by the post... not my own views. My husband isn't very tall and that never mattered to me.

I think most men who claim "women judge men by height" are really just using their somewhat-below-average height as an excuse for the real reason they're alone, to wit, them being jerks. BTW the most sexually active man I personally know is about 5' 4" or so amd ca. 120 pounds...

No, we both get judged. Fair or not, that's how it's going to be. The part that rankles is the women who think it's unfair when men do it, but perfectly reasonable when women do it.

Now this isn’t fair. I must protest.... someone could (if they choose to) loose weight, apply make up, wear a push up/padded bra, Spanx, hair dye.... but there ain’t thing to be done for a soul who is self conscious about their height (that isn’t instantly noticeable).

Men and women both judge people based on looks. Both in potential partners and friends as well. It’s hypocritical to suggest we as women are the only ones that have to deal with it. And in my experience, in general women are much more judgmental of other women (and ourselves) than men are. Men hardly notice the small flaws. We women are our worst critics.

Um....you just said it's okay to judge people based on their bodies. This is f*****g r******d for a couple reasons. One is she defeated herself by admitting it's okay to judge about height and two, if you think women treat all men's bodies as equal then you're deluded. David Beckham bodies will be better received than Seth Rogan bodies I assure you.

The other post that just got deleted said that the doctor was 'obviously a man'. I'd say that's sexist towards women. Perhaps it wasn't Bored Panda that deleted it. Perhaps that posted it realised he was actually the same type of man that this entire article is about and deleted it himself out of embarrassment?

"Men not knowing how things work be deciding that women are evil and must be punished" is such a good description of both of these phenomenon. If a woman should be convincted because of an abortion, then a man should be convicted every time he accidentally impregnates a woman who doesn't want to be pregnant. It takes two to tango.

Ive worked in automotive repair my whole life and found that women ask more questions and listen to the answers way more than men do. Its stupid how many men feel like admitting they dont know something means they are somehow less of a man. A lot of females do. I mean, not because of a stereotype, but for things like the fact that a lot of people enjoy cooking or,,, basic survival. Men also cook. It's not just a female thing, thank you for coming to my ted talk/ramble and good night. Edit: I noticed a debate in the reply section, no I did not say females because of military service and no it is definitely not an incel thing.
