Sometimes, people just don’t get along for a dozen possible reasons. But sometimes the main reason is that one person is a complete jerk and disrespects the other individual.
Case in point, some women got so fed up with some men who were acting like misogynists that they just had to turn to Twitter and write jokes about them for acting that way.

According to Psychology Today, there are some traits that misogynists exhibit that can let you spot them from a mile away. For example, while at first, a guy can seem “flirtatious, exciting, fun, and charismatic,” as time goes by, he may start showing extreme swings in his personality. A bit like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
Misogynists also often make promises to women that they fail to keep and lack punctuality when they do manage to keep appointments. What’s more, Psychology Today explains that being outperformed by women professionally or socially will make misogynists feel “terrible.”
Hypocrisy is another trait of misogynists because they will allow their male friends and colleagues to do things that they’d criticize women for doing.
They also tend to put down women in public, steal their ideas “in professional contexts,” and even borrow money without the intention of giving it back. On dates, these ‘toxic’ guys always act the opposite of how women prefer to be treated; while in relationships they will tend to cheat on their female partners because they feel that they don’t ‘owe’ them monogamy.
People should do this whenever they get an unwanted sexual comment.
I had one instructor in college that was like this. I’d make a point, with backup, and he’d just pass over it and ask if anyone else had anything to say. Nearly every time, some guy would repeat what I had said a few minutes before—-often verbatim—-and suddenly the instructor’s treating him like he’s a f*****g genius making an original point! It got predictable to the point where I’d warn the people sitting around me to watch for it to happen. Quite often they’d call both the instructor and the repeater out and say that I had already said the same thing, and I loved them for it. He hated that. I do not miss his classes.
In WWII, Hedi Lamar ((Well known as a 'sex kitten--and ONLY that) invented radar and the rudiments of WiFi. She was not allowed in the war conferences; she was 'too distracting'. Had to send a man in her place to get her ideas across. Hasn't changed much, has it?
I see this CONSTANTLY in the web design world. It's like women are only seen as the ones to make things pretty, when in fact, they are the ones doing the entire back end coding and making the sight brilliantly functional.
To make things pretty, do what they’re told, get the coffee, and both set up and clean up the meeting room. But never to come up with good, solid, viable ideas. Considering that more women are getting college degrees than men these days, and getting better grades to boot, you’d think we’d get more credit. It’s better than it used to be, but it’s still far from fair and balanced.

At work a diabetic patient was passing out from extremely low sugar levels so we told her to eat the food we got her, she didn't want to listen and kept saying no, we explained she had to or she could get into a coma, she didn't want to know, an old man sitting on the waiting area told her to eat and listen to us and she ate straight away............. A female doctor, a female practice nurse specialised on diabetes, a female receptionist experienced in diabetes all explained she had to eat otherwise she could get into a coma and she only listen when a random old man got pissed off with her stubbornness and told her to eat it and listen to us.
Not sure that's a fair example - people in that state can be very confused. It might be that she didn't want to listen to the 'experts'. It may very well be that she only listens to men of course! But still unwell.

Not a girl but that happens to me all the time, and sometimes it is a girl who repeats what I said and everyone loves it like it was her idea. This one is more of something that just happens to introverts and the extroverts get the credit.

that happened to me (a guy) in seventh grade. Make a joke in class: silence. Cousin (also a guy) repeats same joke exactly: big laugh.
At a dinner party a bf of my mate said "I mean, pff, what even IS horsepower anyway? Pfff" So I replied "Its the amount of pull a horse can exert in a straight line over a certain distance, I think." He blinked at me. Then the other man at the party said "Well, Andrew, its the amount a horse can pull in a straight line over a set distance" and the dude was all enlightened and grateful, in my head they are raucously hi-5ing while me and the two other women just looked at each other, psychically asking each other "you heard me say that, right?"
This is specifically for this situation when it is because of gender. Maybe a different word, but this is for this situation.

In defense of "everyone" I think there's a "second thought" effect. Ideas are hard things to fully process. If an idea poses hurdles the first time around, by the second time, you'd worked through them enough that you're able to evaluate the idea. But, yeah, it'd be nice if we'd give credit where credit is due.

Had that happen to me at work many times. My MANager would ask questions in meetings, I'd tell him the answers, HE would ignore me, and have another man CALL SOMEONE ELSE for an answer. Guess what ... And he still wouldn't pay attention to me. I heard he's still pulling the same c**p with others. Quite the learning curve with that one.
This has happened to me in a professional setting countless times. It got to the point that if I wanted something accomplished I just had my male employee bring up the idea to upper management instead of trying to myself. It was sad and we laughed at it but it worked!

Wow. That describes pretty much my entire working life - oh by the way, you're not allowed to stop suggesting though, 'cuz then you're not a "team player".
To add some backup to this one, I was working in a group and one of my colleagues, a woman, did just that, she suggested a path forward and was ignored by the majority of the group. That is until she looked at me and asked if I liked her idea and would I suggest it? I did and everyone thought it was great idea. The even shittier part is that when they started to praise me for the idea, I said it was hers and they all just looked back at the work in front of us.
I think it was Obamas staff, were the women started to back eachother up. When Said something, the other women would either agree or repeate what one Said.
Live From Here (NPR) did a skit about this very thing last weekend. I forget the name of the fake product they were 'advertising', but it altered a woman's voice to sound like a man. There was also a version that altered a man's voice to a woman's if he needed help with a flat tire, etc.
Well, men outnumber women in most fields. And I've even seem women take a man's word over another woman's. It depends on the person.

The other post that just got deleted said that the doctor was 'obviously a man'. I'd say that's sexist towards women. Perhaps it wasn't Bored Panda that deleted it. Ive worked in automotive repair my whole life and found that women ask more questions and listen to the answers way more than men do. Its stupid how many men feel like admitting they dont know something means they are somehow less of a man. A lot of females do. I mean, not because of a stereotype, but for things like the fact that a lot of people enjoy cooking or,,, basic survival. Men also cook. A few things I learned here, one that a lot of people miss the point, two that people really need to learn what irony, metaphor and sarcasm is and thirdly that people need to understand that many of these posts are made with the intention of reflecting the same stereotype that men use against women back onto men in an attempt to show them why this is bad. But of course that's just another one of the points that a lot of people missed.

1. Females hear disparaging remarks and deal with sexism on a daily basis. If you haven’t experienced it, count yourself lucky and privileged, but to denounce its existence and polluting the conversation does not serve anybody. 2. “Not all men” - what does this accomplish? Finish one conversation and try to understand their point before interrupting. Most of the time, the person saying it recognizes that it’s a gerneralization. Which happens to be based on a near global and looong history of female subjugation. As a strong woman, I don't need to tear men apart. We ALL need to be better. I'm disappointed in what we're becoming. Yes, there NEEDS to be a dialogue, but not the way we're doing it. I see some of these things and there are days that I'm embarrassed to be a woman BECAUSE of other women. THAT is wrong. Treating them the exact same way they've treated us in the past is not the answer. Making them afraid, ashamed, etc simply because they're a man isn't an answer. CERTAIN men should be but not ALL men. What's worse is that WOMEN are tearing women apart and making them feel less than when we disagree. We do need change but this entire hate spewing era needs to stop. Nothing will get solved this way.

I think that these kinds of posts are good because they do call out s**t guys on their b******t but at the same time, they have a negative effect of reflecting these things on all guys, even if they don't mean to. They subconsciously create the notion that guys are c**p and that's what girls hold in the back of their minds. Bad encounters with men and other stories like these strengthen such notions. First off, the article has a bad title, it's not funny, to anyone, not sure why they used the word funny. Secondly, we can't raise awareness about the way some men are treating women and also talk about the good men and also talk about bad ways women treat men and the good things about women all in one article every time. That's impractical when the person who made this article probablu just wanted to give examples of the bad treatment of women that's been going on. For people who think there should be more focus on good men, go make an article, same for those suggesting one about bad women. You can't please everyone and every cause 100% of the time. And for the people who thought this article was bashing men, these were just real women sharing real stories, take from that what you will.
Something about a lot of these rubbed me the wrong way. There's a certain amount of leeway that we get to criticize guys because obviously they've gotten a lot more privilege than us throughout history, however a lot of these tweets cross the line and generalize about men saying things like men are useless and are trash. That's so counterproductive and toxic in my eyes. I'm a girl and i've taken a fair amount of abuse from men, but to apply my bad experiences to all men is just really problematic.

These types of articles are supposed to start honest and open discussions and usually what ends up happening is someone(male and female alike) gets upset because they don't like what's being said. So let me say this: There are good people and there are bad people. Good people can be any sex, race, religion, sexuality, or age. Bad people can be these things as well. To be a good person, all you have to do is be kind and considerate of all people without expecting anything in return. It's expecting something in return that has led to the phrase "But I am a nice guy/girl". If you were truly a nice person, you wouldn't have to say it all the time.

I think that these kinds of posts are good because they do call out s**t guys on their b******t but at the same time, they have a negative effect of reflecting these things on all guys, even if they don't mean to. They subconsciously create the notion that guys are c**p and that's what girls hold in the back of their minds. Bad encounters with men and other stories like these strengthen such notions. It is important to also appreciate the good men and specifically state that these a******s aren't the same. This is coming from an 18 year old female btw

First off, the article has a bad title, it's not funny, to anyone, not sure why they used the word funny. Secondly, we can't raise awareness about the way some men are treating women and also talk about the good men and also talk about bad ways women treat men and the good things about women all in one article every time. That's impractical when the person who made this article probablu just wanted to give examples of the bad treatment of women that's been going on. For people who think there should be more focus on good men, go make an article, same for those suggesting one about bad women. You can't please everyone and every cause 100% of the time. And for the people who thought this article was bashing men, these were just real women sharing real stories, take from that what you will.
Something about a lot of these rubbed me the wrong way. There's a certain amount of leeway that we get to criticize guys because obviously they've gotten a lot more privilege than us throughout history, however a lot of these tweets cross the line and generalize about men saying things like men are useless and are trash. That's so counterproductive and toxic in my eyes. I'm a girl and i've taken a fair amount of abuse from men, but to apply my bad experiences to all men is just really problematic.
Good point. People have the tendency to over-generalise and it keeps the problems intact. I definitely see the points of these tweets, but also don't agree with some of them.

These types of articles are supposed to start honest and open discussions and usually what ends up happening is someone(male and female alike) gets upset because they don't like what's being said. So let me say this: There are good people and there are bad people. Good people can be any sex, race, religion, sexuality, or age. Bad people can be these things as well. To be a good person, all you have to do is be kind and considerate of all people without expecting anything in return. It's expecting something in return that has led to the phrase "But I am a nice guy/girl". If you were truly a nice person, you wouldn't have to say it all the time.
some people are not nice, because someone else is just stepping on their foot and ignoring it. So, at some point, they start to "bark" like little dogs, because the big dog is sitting on his head, and refusing to move. Some Big dogs are pricks sometimes, and they tell the small dogs "Don't bark! Be nice! Be F*CKING NICE! OK!!!!!?" so who's being wrong here? Seriously???

this is two sides of one coin Men are usually more physically violent because that is what they are taught strength means everything, But that doesn't mean women are any less abusive their abuse is usually emotional and mental it doesn't kill the man it breaks him making him like the living dead that cant trust or feel safe in any relation.
Most physically abusive people are ALSO verbally, mentally, emotionally abusive (i.e. women broken down by mental/emotional abuse often stay with their physically abusive partners). There’s no comparison. Men who physically/sexually abuse aren’t “nice guys” who happen to hit/rape.

Actual nice guys probably would. But "nice guys" is a reference to a section of men who honestly believe that they're "nice guys" but then believe that that entitles them to whatever they want. e.g. "I paid for her meal and gave her my coat when she was cold but then she didn't sleep with me, what a b****!!!"

I believe that it's called sexism, but since women are doing it isnt. It must be similar to racism. Only white people can be racist, only men can be sexist.
It's called 'dealing with social pressures through humor'. A lot of women use it instead of a gun or knife. It's mirroring the prevailing male attitude. If you heard this about women, most men wouldn't turn a hair. Dumb female jokes have been around since I was a child, at least (and that was a long time ago.) So, chill. serious answer: for immature men, women are not individuals persons, fellow human beings, but aliens - apparently intelligent creatures one wants to comtact, but really weird. This is natural when you're 15. But some men never outgrow this stage, and remain with trying to find the "secret" way to "get" women (which they see as interchangeable) all their life.
