Life is a multidimensional game we are forced to play on one difficulty level only: completely effin brutal. Just when you think you gathered enough experience to level up and chill for a bit, the developers throw another curveball at you. So why not make it easier with a few cheats?

While we shared universal ones numerous times (like when we published 30 Life Hacks That Sound Terrible But Really Work), this set is exclusively for the ladies.

Reddit user FloydianCrazyDiamond made a post on the platform, asking, "What is your most used life hack as a woman?" and her plea was heard! From interpersonal relationships to shopping, the comment section under her question was quickly flooded with all sorts of pro tips.

I hate women's razors, they don't give a close enough shave and they are more expensive than the men's.

We managed to get in touch with FloydianCrazyDiamond and the Redditor was really happy her post exploded so quickly.

"I was lying on the sofa with my cats after a long day of work, mindlessly watching YouTube and thinking about how difficult life can be sometimes," FloydianCrazyDiamond told Bored Panda about the origins of her publication.

"There's always a never-ending list of things to do and you can barely catch a breath! So I thought I'd ask other women for life hacks in all sorts of fields, so that maybe it could make our lives a little bit easier, save us some time, or give us peace of mind."

It isn't worth the distraction, mood-kill, bunions, foot pain, injured toes, or inability to walk.

Women Are Sharing Their Favorite Life Hacks, And These 30 Can Make Every Day Much Easier Learn the power of saying the word “no”. Set those boundaries for yourself. Life-changing.

pattimay_ho_nnaise , Monstera Report

The internet culture archive Know Your Meme noted that the term "life hack" was coined by tech journalist Danny O'Brien on October 23rd, 2003 on his blog Oblomovka where he described his research on the subject.

But over the years, we've reached a point where "life hack" can mean virtually anything. The phrase is tossed around mercilessly by publishers who want to milk it for clicks and it is even a name for a meme, mocking... itself.

However, as you can see, you can still find good advice on the internet if you look hard enough. Or ask people kindly. "A lot of the comments were really helpful tips," FloydianCrazyDiamond said.

#6

Women Are Sharing Their Favorite Life Hacks, And These 30 Can Make Every Day Much Easier Learning when someone isn't worth your time or energy. Save it for those who matter

LovelyxMae , Anna Tarazevich Report

"I think the hacks that kept showing up were in the personal hygiene category," the author of the post said. "There were also a notable amount of inspirational comments, of women sharing their own experiences and how their decisions changed their lives for the better."

Going through the replies to her now-viral post, FloydianCrazyDiamond thought the tip to keep a backup bag of essentials in your car was especially cool. "It's such a simple thing that we don't think about doing, but it could really save your day. Just be careful not to leave anything that's in a pressurized container in the car, as it might explode."

"A lot of the hacks were things I already do, like cleaning as I cook, and using conditioner instead of shaving cream, etc," the Redditor added. "I love how the post got a lot of comments and I'm sure many of us got at least one thing useful out of it."

Women Are Sharing Their Favorite Life Hacks, And These 30 Can Make Every Day Much Easier This sounds weird, but...not being afraid to be rude.

Manipulative family members, gaslighting ex-partners, dudes on dating apps who keep pushing boundaries, random men who think they're entitled to a conversation, etc.

Some dude trying to talk to you while you're reading or listening to music or working out?

Flat, blunt rejections. An annoyed and sarcastic, "Can I help you with something?"

Some dude interrupted me reading a book to start talking to me about something I wasn't interested in (his Funko collection, and I hate the cheap and ugly little things and would rather pay more for a Figma or Nendoroid, but because I have geek hobbies...) and after repeatedly stating I dislike their aesthetic, I finally flatly replied with, "Wow, that was a really boring story."

Take being a called a c*nt or b***h confirmation that it works. If the dude throws a tantrum, don't engage. Just silently watch him. Maybe throw in a nonchalant, "I see that touched a nerve," when he's done if you've feeling sassy.

Except when someone is forcing themselves over your boundaries, THEY are being rude. Asserting your boundaries is not rude. "Leave me alone." "Go away." "Stop bothering me." "Move along, now." Don't play games with words, don't say please. Make direct eye contact to show you are not afraid.

Women Are Sharing Their Favorite Life Hacks, And These 30 Can Make Every Day Much Easier When I’m not feeling so hot / sexy or when I’m stressing about meeting my own standards, I ask myself: what would a guy do?

The answer is usually much much less than all this.

So then I sit back, accept my existence and presence is a gift to everyone and enjoy!

This also works when someone’s arguing with me (so I selectively listen), or someone’s being demanding (I ignore half of it), or when I have plumbing issues (my natural smell is sexy so who needs a shower right?).

There it is. Being a guy. That’s my life hack.

You’re welcome.

Women Are Sharing Their Favorite Life Hacks, And These 30 Can Make Every Day Much Easier For those who use shaving gel that come in aluminum cans: before you put it in the shower stall, use clear nail polish to make a thin coat all along the bottom rim of the can. Let it dry for a few minutes then put it in the shower stall. This will prevent the can from rusting at the bottom/leaving those rust colored rings.

Two things, first- pop the drain plug in the sink so nothing goes down the drain. Second- put earrings or other small items on somewhere that dropping them may not result in the item disappearing into the next dimension.

I'm sure this helps, but elastine will, eventually, get looser with time anyway. Also, you might gain or lose weight in the meantime, and that affects these straps too. I was lucky, for me, these problems came to an end when I discovered the perfect brand for me. I just hope they keep making this particular model that fits me so well as if it were designed after me.

Women Are Sharing Their Favorite Life Hacks, And These 30 Can Make Every Day Much Easier Vinegar to soften towels, you don’t want to use fabric softener as it builds up and makes the towels less absorbent. It also helps eliminates odors. Vinegar to remove soap scum and hard water marks from granite. Vinegar sitting out in a bowl to remove odors, like onions, bacon, seafood. Basically vinegar for the win! Also always keep spare underwear at work and in your car, women just need them!

Women Are Sharing Their Favorite Life Hacks, And These 30 Can Make Every Day Much Easier Be polite and nice (in a non-harmful to yourself way) with strangers and people in general until they prove that they don't deserve good attitude.

If someone does something that is harming you, then you have all the rights to say "stop doing that". No need to wait until they realise, just say it when u need to.

If you feel like you want to go away from the convo, or u don't like what they are proposing (e.g. you're chatting and they ask u to send pics, or ask u out, or basically ask you do something u don't want to), then u can just say, "no, thank you" or even just "no" WITHOUT explaining. If they proceed to ask why and don't accept the answer "because i want/ don't want it that way", then chances are, they don't respect you. Situations are different, I'm talking about some generalised principles...

It might sound strange, but girls often go to extreme lengths to not hurt somebody else's feeling while forgetting to check if they are not being hurt by themselves. Always choose to love and care for yourself. ❤

Men have assaulted, raped and even murdered women for telling them no. We're not polite because we don't know how to be assertive, we're trying to de-escalate a potentially dangerous situation since psychos don't wear a sign.

Women Are Sharing Their Favorite Life Hacks, And These 30 Can Make Every Day Much Easier Anyway one life hack I have is to put your pad on your underwear and leave it on the sink so it’ll be ready once you get out of the shower and it’ll be less likely that you’ll have an “accident.”

I’ve been doing this for years but I found out a lot of women don’t know about this hack. It makes things so much easier when you’re showering on your period.

I did this a lot, but recently I haven't been having periods very freqiently. Or at all. I think it's been four months. I am a bit worried, but everything else seems to be working fine, so... Edit/update, I have told my mom over text. She said that it's normal to miss a few, especially since I have diet and sleep issues, stress, and a relatively sedentary lifestyle. She says that if it persists for another month I should remind her so we can get me checked out. Thank you all for your kind encouragement :).

I’ve tried this and then looked down in horror to realize the top of my tights (or better yet, nude colored nylons) was now showing two inches above the top of the skirt, with a bunched up shirt tucked into that. Probably works well for some clothing cuts and body types, but be warned it’s not all! 😂

The skin of any citrus fruit contains an oil with citric acid as one of the components. Even in a fairly large sized orange the amount is generally less than a drop. The scent effect could only happen if the dishwasher was on a basic rinse cycle, as any detergent used would remove it.
