Women’s Everyday Problems Illustrated By Romanian Artist
681Kviews
Life can get really tough when a Youtube “smokey eyes” make-up tutorial turns you into a raccoon instead of a dazzling beauty. Or when you wake up in the morning looking like Chewbacca (curly Pandas, we feel you). At least we can laugh about it together with Cassandra Calin, a Romanian artist, whose relatable comics about girl problems get straight to the point.
The 21-year-old comic artist and graphic designer, currently based in Montreal, Canada, illustrates all sorts of funny problems that women encounter in their everyday life, ranging from clothing to dating: "I draw funny comics inspired by my life, daily problems, and experiences. I enjoy laughing at my awkward self and the funny situations I get in, and ranting about silly misfortunes such as being born with curly hair."

I am sorry but I really hate the concept that women remove their body hair because of boys. I do it for myself even when I am single!
This is ALL women not just the young, My mother in law is 86 yrs old and she has four wardrobes crammed full of clothes she has bought and never worn most still have the price tags still on them and she is always saying " I have nothing to wear ", and about twice a year she say's I am going to clear out all my wardrobes , she does and everything goes back in sometimes, but she has been known to empty a wardrobe into charity bags and get rid of them, brand new garments with price tags on, she will not buy cheap stuff, but I would kick her ass if she were my wife, I have never known a woman waste so much money and then moan she has nothing to wear, she is the same with everything, lights burning all night, leave a tap running while she NIPS to the shop for three hours, yaps on the phone to people next door for hours on end, thank god her daughter that I married has more brain, she takes all my money off me and banks it for when we get old, I am 71 and still don't get pocket money.
Translation: "I'm feeling insecure about how I look, so no matter how many cute outfits I own, I can't find anything that makes me feel as beautiful on the outside as I know I am on the inside." ***** Now, if only we all stopped worrying about outward appearances, and looked for a partner who cared more about that beauty inside you than anything on the outside, we'd all have very happy, fulfilling relationships. Trust me... when I found the one person in this world who accepted me as I was - overweight, bushy eyebrows, no makeup, and a wardrobe chosen for comfort rather than sex appeal... I had the happiest, most loving and fulfilling relationship of my life. Sadly it only lasted 9 years because he had cancer - but I will treasure those 9 years for the rest of my life. -- IF I ever consider another relationship, I will accept nothing less than the kind of unconditional love I found with my Eph. That is what every woman - every person - deserves!!
I wish I'd learned that lesson in my 20's instead of my 40's. It would've saved me much heartache from bad relationships. -- I'm sharing my story here hoping that at least a few younger folks will read it, & take it to heart. Believe me, if the guy who picks you only notices how you look (whether it's your sexy outfit or your sexy body), that relationship is getting off on the wrong foot, & may never be truly fulfilling. The guy (or gal) you really need in your life is the one who won't care if you're wearing an evening gown or baggy jeans and a t-shirt with paint and baby food stains on it. He won't care if you've got a bit of cellulite, or if your belly is never truly flat. He won't care if your chest is large or small - perky or saggy. What he WILL care about is WHO you are, on the inside. He will want you to care more about who HE is than what he looks like as well. So when you find THAT guy... hold on to him & never let go!!
Load More Replies...I'm so happy I'm through with that period of my life :) Now I have enough clothes and no hesitation at all :) Here's a good article about every fashionista :) http://www.becomingminimalist.com/wear-one/
Aaww... I think she is a Digimon fan. That looks like izzy's laptop :)
GRRR I hate that!!! I have long red curly hair and I hate when people who you don't even know do that!!
This was me when I was younger and drew comics. And everytime that stupid question "Is it Youuuu you`re drawing??" Argh!
I was Pocahontas in a show recently, I had to wear dancer's shorts under that costume.
I have straight hair and wanted curly, so I got a perm. I looked more like Roseanna Danna from SNL. Then I cut if off and started all over again with straight short hair, no more perms.
I like the way an artist portraits faces and a palette of emotions.
I love this! So much like me. I hope the artist does more!
really great illustrations depicting really real problems ahahah loved it :) well done

'Real' problems? Do you know what a real problem actually is? How about unclean drinking water as the only option, for example?
Small problems are just as 'real' as big problems.
Yes please, let's turn the set of light humorous sketches into a debate on gender equality, stereotypes and domestic violence because that's what EVERYONE should think about when they come across something posted on website called BoredPanda.
well done, fun, light-hearted, real.
YES This is so me!!! XD
Bawahahahahahaha these are great. She really nailed it!
I love it so much! It's so relatable!
Not a girl, but this is awesome art and the themes are heartmeltingly adorable.
Nice art style, funny too. Not all of them are gender specific...
These comics are wonderful. Both in terms of lines and humor :v

THOSE are not "woman" problems. They are hardly problems at all. Stating those are gender problems trivialize real issues. What a shallow way to depict yourself. Yeah, HAHA funny, but not really tho'

don't like when people posting "difference between genders" stuff. This is what men do this is what women do. It's not DIFFERENCE you're posting it's STEREOTYPES. There is really NO difference between the genders* if you do belive it is, that is because you buy into the stereotype crap. One thing is sure both genders EQUALLY annoys me.
Okay Einstein. Have you recently looked down your pants? There's you gender, which sometimes leads to (normal) everyday problems- which the opposite gender not necessarily experience. Sorry to break the news to you this way- Good luck !
Roughly speaking - but would in many cases symbolize the majority of problems the "gender" experience, Mr. Teacher.

Oh dear. I forgot to add the text: *other than some insignificant biological features. which was supposed to explain why I put a * after genders. And NO your genitals don't always explain the gender, many people are born into the wrong gender such as transgenders. The identification of your gender sits in the brain. And NO there really is no defining difference between man and woman (other than reproductive organs). More and more recent studies suggest the same. There is NO defining trait a woman has that you can't find in a man, and vice versa. So all this do is as I said in the original post only create stereotypes. AND stereotypes that is what creates problems for the genders. It was stereotyping in the past that led to the women's suffrage and equality struggle. We must challenge our misconceptions and prejudices rather than uphold our stereotypes, see persons not genders. And I believe that is EXACTLY what this artist is doing. Cudos
Men and woman are different. Life with it.
Sooo....that means that men leaves their body hair when they're single and remove it when they have a girlfriend? :D And of course image#2 is totally applicable for both genders... :D
Well, let's not go from one extreme to the other.

Exactly. Perpetuating the vapid cute gigly bouncy girl stereotype and glorifying it, it's so wrong... so so so wrong.

Oh, you poor first world women. Your lives must be so troublesome. Boo hoo!

Poor artist, seems to spend a lot of time among the same type of women and cannot imagine anything else.
Like what?
I see your point but it's just a light hearted cartoon. The fact that it doesn't depict any of what you listed might be more to do with the fact it wouldn't look so cute anymore if it did, in turn defeating the purpose of this type of art. You're literally offended because an artist didn't make art about serious issues over day to day stereotypes. The cartoon is in no way a testament to the issues you speak of not existing, so I don't see why you are offended unless you are reading into an implication that isn't there.
P.Bruce FHell: rather than complaining, why not create your own cartoons then?

Like REAL woman problems, such as lower wages than men. Cat-calling, domestic abuse, harder to get job opportunities... and those are FIRST world problems. Let's talk about genital mutilation, prostitution, famine and murder in developing and 3rd world countries... Calling those "problems" is offensive to say the least.
