Entitled Woman Parks Her Minivan In Illegal Spot, So This Guy Gives Her A Taste Of Her Own Medicine

There are times when friendship and loyalty make you do things that you know are wrong, but feel good, like planning petty revenge on somebody who most likely deserves it.

A similar situation happened to LongLiveMisanthrope who got revenge on behalf of their friend Rachael, a gas station employee who couldn’t throw out the trash because a tourist caravan was blocking the only access to the dumpsters. The caravan driver was really entitled, so our protagonist taught her a lesson by blocking her in with their car and wasting her time as long as possible. Read on for Bored Panda’s interview with the Redditor.

A woman blocked access to the dumpsters by parking her caravan where she wasn’t allowed to…

Image credits: dwstucke (not the actual photo)

LongLiveMisantrope admitted that they acted like a complete jerk and didn’t excuse their behavior. The story they posted on the ‘Petty Revenge’ subreddit was upvoted by 8,500 people, while over 150 internet users left a comment. Redditors also gave them 2 Gold Awards, as well as 2 Silver Awards.

…so a friend of a gas station employee, who couldn’t throw out the trash, decided to mess with the selfish woman

Bored Panda reached out to LongLiveMisantrope to talk about what happened, as well as to hear their opinion about revenge and forgiveness.

“I think only a few people think they are above the rules,” the Redditor explained why they think some people flaunt the rules. “The rest of the rule-breakers think that no one is being harmed or inconvenienced since they themselves aren’t either.”

“I was utterly amazed,” LongLiveMisantrope said about the popularity of their post online. “I thought maybe [I’d get] 1k upvotes and a lot of people calling me a [jerk]. But to see so many people congratulating me on good work honestly made me nervously laugh at my confusion over it.”

However, the Redditor revealed that they think forgiveness is better than revenge in the long run, but with some caveats. “Full honesty, I think forgiveness is the best route. But education, especially of the hard lesson variety, is important and lacking in today’s society. And though I say always forgive, I also say never forget. I just want to say this to everyone, it’s an important lesson I have learned and I want to share it with as many people as possible: everything you do in your life makes someone else’s job either easier or harder.”

The ways in which the Redditor wasted the entitled woman’s time were genius and the perfect guide on how to one-up most rude people. Though LongLiveMisantrope stood up for their friend Rachael, that doesn’t mean they’ll be there to help her out every single time something goes wrong with a customer. Far from every employee has the courage to stand up to clients whom they are told are always right.

According to Inc., there are several things that employees or business owners can do to stop a certain type of customers from bullying them or jerking them around. For example, if a customer knows that you don’t need their business because you’ve got other options, they’ll start acting more politely. If a customer starts yelling, don’t yell back, but speak in an authoritative manner and show that you don’t intend to be intimidated.

And if a rude and demanding customer requires your help, let them know that whether or not you help them depends on their attitude: after all, why should you help somebody who doesn’t have the smallest smidgen of respect for you and wants to trample on your dignity?

At the end of the day, no job is worth being abused over, unless it’s a matter of national security or you’re literally saving the world (but even then, you have words with whoever was insulting you after you prevent Armageddon).

Dear Pandas, has anything similar happened to you or a friend that you know? Do you think that what LongLiveMisantrope did is wrong? Or were they right to do what they did? Do you think that living a life of revenge or forgiveness is the better option? And do you have any advice on dealing with rude or jerk customers? Drop us a comment down below.

People were jubilant that the caravan-owning rude woman got what she deserved

Even if this story is fake, I did something similar, through maybe a bit more justified once. I was living in a small studio apartment building just off base, the parking lot was small so everyone had an assigned parking spot and there were only two or three visitor spots. I came home for lunch one day and someone was parked in my spot, okay, not a big deal, I parked in a visitor spot and went about my business. Well, it happened again, and again and again. I got fed up with it, so I parked directly behind their vehicle, blocking them in. I felt a bit bad because my vehicle was taking up a bunch of the driving space, but people could still get around me. After about 20 minutes there was a knock on my door. I opened it to find a guy standing there and he asked me if I could please move my truck so he could get out. I asked him why he had parked in my spot and he said he didn't know it was assigned parking, so I asked him how he knew which apartment to knock at then.

He appologized and asked me to move again. I gave him a very long cosidering look and said I would but if he parked in my spot again, I would not only block him in and not move for days, but I would inform the apartment managers. He never parked in my spot again.

I actually had this happen the other day. A woman pulled out and stopped from a parking lot completely blocking access to anyone wanting to make a right turn onto the main street. I was on the connecting street...pulled right in front of her blocking her from completing her turn. When the light changed, she gunned her car and kept acting like she was going to hit me. We entered a mall parking lot, she followed continuing her harassment and I called the cops. Luckily, they were already at the mall grabbing lunch from the food court. It wasn't long before the cops lit her up and threatened to arrest her for reckless driving. She got a ticket for exceeding the posted speed limit in the parking lot and mall security banned her from the property. They told me never to do that again, but it still didn't wipe the smile off my face.

While it's not always a good idea to purposefully inconvenience someone- sometimes it just makes you feel so much better. Just as long as you don't catch somebody with a really bad temper who is willing to go to take the heat for keying your car or breaking your window.

I owned a service station in a small town. I pumped 3,000 to 4,000 gallons a day with many miles coming into town. People would pull into front of pumps and lock car then two pumps. Them pumps were running almost full time. I was first Service station for go to restroom. There was a 100 by 300 ft lot in front of restrooms. Sometimes being in restroom 15 to 20 minutes. I would ask for them to move to side using restrooms. Oh! I will only be there a minute. With cars lining up for gas behind them. I would take floor jack and move them to the side. The only thing touched was rear axle housing. A lot would call police. Two sued for me touching their car. Of course was thrown out of court and they had to pay. Was just steady pain in butt for me. I had signs to not park in front of pumps.

A number of intersections have a square painted on the pavement so people will not stop in that spot and create grid lock for people trying to leave and enter a parking lot. I pulled up to the car ahead of me clearing the square. The vehicle behind me stopped in the square creating grid lock. He did not get through the intersection one bit sooner but caused others a great deal of inconvenience.

SELF-entitled. Entitled means you have earned or paid for something and you are entitled to it. Self-entitled is when you think you should have things that you have not earned or do not deserve. Social Security is an entitlement because we have all paid for it. Medicare is an entitlement. Please do not continue the gas-lighting for the people trying to take away our entitlements.

I was telling my husband about a recent news article of a lady caught on a Tesla camera keying the car. I said I never would vandalize a car but was inadvertently involved in an incident. In the 90s a big new pickup blocked a bunch of our cars at a bar complex. I climbed into the bed and slid the UNLOCKED rear window to see if I could fit through to put it in neutral and roll it back. Even my skinny a*s couldn’t fit so everyone else started tearing s**t off the truck. Luckily a few people finally came out and we were able to get out. Someone peed into that rear window after I got out.

I can empathize. I live I Texas and it seems that people are completely unaware that their big trucks don’t fit into those parking spaces. I can’t tell you how many times I have confronted someone in their big truck that is clearly over the line which then sets off a chain event. Sometimes if they are nasty to me, I tell them to maybe start with a smaller vehicle since they are incapable to park such a large vehicle. It irritates me to the moon and back. I don’t know why we have this attitude in society that everyone feels that they are self entitled to everything, no matter who it inconvenience. If you can’t park it properly, don’t drive it!

The weird thing is I have a (sorta) boss, she's actually the boss of the main farm I work in and then we have offices in the old farmhouse and are a completely separate company. But she's always telling us off for something, either toilet seats were not put down or fish tank left on. it's our building and we pay rent/rates so we'll do what we want with our stuff. Anyway point of the post is her name is Karen! Well i keep hearing Karen being used as a cliche name of a person who moans!!!! This has made my day, they do and it's shrill and annoying!!!!!!!

Another incel article. https://www.boredpanda.com/womans-car-blocks-gas-station-dumpster-gets-revenge/ ‘Karen’ is an insult term used by a large group of people in the US called ‘incels’. They hate women because they are ‘involuntarily celibate’, that is where the word ‘incel’ comes from. (They use the term themselves; I’m not slurring them.) There have been 4 mass murders by incels in recent years, including the Isla Vista massacre, in which 6 people were murdered. This writer has posted several incel posts in the last few weeks. They are low-key enough that some people aren’t aware of the incel connection. I’ve enjoyed BP, but if your site does support the murder of women by sexually frustrated men, let me know. I’m assuming you aren’t aware what Jonas is doing. I will start writing to your advertisers and sending screenshots of BP incel articles showing their advertising next to hate terms like ‘Karen’. It will be clear to some advertisers that you are incels, but I will

Like I said in another comment, The name 'Karen' is not used here as "incel terminology." The name has grown in recent years to mean the woman with the "I want to speak to the manager" haircut, is a middle-class soccer mom who gives her kids ridiculous names, and brings her pet chihuahua into any restaurant she wants to and throws and absolute fit when told to leave.

Sorry, I think this person telling the story was an even bigger jerk. Just jonesing to put a Karen in her place and feeling so full of him/herself for doing so. Also, his/her actions did nothing to help his friend who worked at the store and needed to take the trash out. This whole story sounds like a gloating, self important jerk. I learned in kindergarten that two wrongs don't make a right. I've done much more noble acts in my life and have never felt the need to pound my chest about them. But I'm sure he's NEVER pushed the envelope on a rule or law.

My petty revenge. I worked in partitioned open plan office. The lady opposite me, behind the partition, would continually play her radio. I hated it because I needed to concentrate and I would fixate on it. I spoke to her on numerous occasions but it didn't help. So one day I purchased a small fm transmitter. As soon as she turned the radio on I would tune to the same frequency as she was listening to and scratch the mic. This resulted in her hearing a horrible screeching sound. I did this a couple of times until one Monday morning....she turned the radio on and I did my screeching transmitter thing. She flipped and tossed the radio across the office and it smashed against the wall. I never had the problem again and I could happily put my little transmitter to rest.

The poor, disadvantaged girl, karma being served to the villain of the piece and the serendipity of the lottery ticket win. Whilst elements may be true, this is clearly a highly embellished tale if it happened at all.

What a nonsense 'story' of abject idiocy. The timeline doesn't add up at all if he's saying they couldn't take the trash out so he parked and blocked the minivan in. Sounds like she was just going in and out and in those few minutes everyones mind blew...... I'm guessing they don't get many visitors from outside of the village.

Does every single little thing that happens to people need to be posted all over the internet with a long diatribe or what?

Just another example that there are too many selfish people in this world. No consideration of others or the reasons why some things are the way they are. That drive lane in a parking lot - well I'll just park there. Entrance to a small alley - I'll park here.

Clearly he underestimated how much the internet loves to see imaginary negative stereotypes of women being taken down by imaginary positive stereotypes of men.

Why do you think the protagonist is male? I thought they were female. Their sex is never mentioned.

“A Karen”? You might want to google that word. It’s an incel term. Incels idolize mass murderers of women, such as the Isla Vista killer.

This kind of sh*t REALLY grates on me. My home carpark has only an alley way to exit onto the street, and being inner city where parking is lacking, people just park on the alley opening. They think they’ll just be 5, 15 or 30 minutes, but heeeeeellooo!! I need to get to work!!! - or whatever. I need to think of something to pay them back.

I've never heard of anyone travelling in a group of 5 vehicles. I've also never heard of anyone stopping at a mini-mart style gas station for 30 minutes or more, unless they had a mechanical problem. I call fake.

I'm in a car club. We regularly travel in groups. The OP said the vehicles were the same type, so could have been a club.

Using the term ‘Karen’ as an insult is incel terminology. Why is BP using incel terms?

You'd probably be better off 'reading' things with pictures if you don't have the attention span to read a quite brief, well-written article.

Incels are voting you down. I think BP editors might subscribe to the violent incel ideology, but they’re keeping it fairly low key. I suggested they acquaint themselves with the Isla Vista massacre

I'll take "Things that didn't really happen" for $500, Alex. Clearly a piece of internet fake glurge. It has all the ingredients.
