Another bizarre Karen incident has just gone viral. On Friday night, rapper Glomula posted a video that showed a white woman holding a puppy and preventing him from getting back into his car.
As the woman walked towards him in the middle of the street, she began telling him that “he’s black” and became more and more confrontational. Finally, when Glomula asked why she held the dog in such an unsafe manner, the woman violently threw the pup at him, obviously hurting the poor critter.

Then nobody would have to throw them at strangers in order to get rid of them. “Time is the most important thing,” Rachel Spencer, the creator of The Paw Post pet blog, told Bored Panda. “To be a parent, you need to be there for your dog, especially puppies where it is round the clock, but even with an older dog, it’s recommended you take at least two weeks off work to settle them in.”
Then, you need to consider who will look after the pooch when you have to go away. Spencer suggests asking yourself will you have a dog walker, sitter, or a friend or relative come to care for them. You can also consider daycare. But then keep in mind it is going to be around other dogs. “A young dog may feel overwhelmed or an older dog who may need more quiet time could feel very stressed in a busy daycare.”

“What if your pet falls ill? Can you pay for treatment? Can you pay monthly insurance costs? Do you like going on lots of holidays abroad? You’ll need to factor in paying for your pet to be cared for into the cost of your holiday,” Spencer continued.
“Do you own or rent your property? If you rent, will your landlord allow pets? It would be devastating to welcome a dog into your home then have to give it up. Even if you own your flat, there could be a clause in the lease saying no pets.”

Basically, it comes down to you being able to include your pet in every part of your life. Including weekends when you’re away for work, nights out, and holidays. “Your dog is part of your family.”

The drug use is not an excuse for cruelty, for any crime. If she was "on something", plus she's "naturally" cruel, violent person, she should be locked up in a drug rehabilitation and psychiatric institution as long as it takes to reform this travesty of a human being; if that is even possible at all.
Honestly I'm not seeing dilated eyes. I have seen plenty earlier in my life in my raving years, maybe had eyes like saucers myself on a few occasions. She's not right in the head for sure. I've been out of my zoloft for 2 weeks now ( communication problems between doctor and pharmacy) and I'm having a really hard time but I would NEVER hurt one of my puppies. Yes, that woman clearly needs some kid of help but we're feeling sorry for the puppy because she was a completely innocent being in that whole thing. The man who is now giving that baby the life she deserves is truly a hero. The ONLY thing getting me through right now is the love and patience I get from my fur babies and my husband.

I feel very concerned that we are labeling incidents with mentally ill and/or substance abuse as "Karen incidents." While the term shouldn't be used at all because of the harm it can cause to innocent people and it's inherent dismissal of accountability from guilty parties, applying it to the mentally ill and to people with substance abuse problems opens up the door to victimizing them and gives people permission to do so. This is not the first time I have seen it used against the mentally ill as an excuse to exploit them by pretending they are just entitled as opposed to ill (too be fair MANY of them actually are) but I hope it will be the last. OK... I'll be devil's advocate. I am not going to defend that woman for things she said and done. What I am saying is this seems kind of staged. People will do horrendous things for a little bit of fame, new followers on social media, and a bit of money. We Won't know until that woman is caught and interrogated heavily.

The drug use is not an excuse for cruelty, for any crime. If she was "on something", plus she's "naturally" cruel, violent person, she should be locked up in a drug rehabilitation and psychiatric institution as long as it takes to reform this travesty of a human being; if that is even possible at all.
Honestly I'm not seeing dilated eyes. I have seen plenty earlier in my life in my raving years, maybe had eyes like saucers myself on a few occasions. She's not right in the head for sure. Could be the effects of strong antidepressants that block all emotions and that's why she has such a lifeless expression. Glad the dog went to someone who cared.

Then again, my pupils are constantly dilated on their own despite the brightness of any lights I have on, so her eyes could just be like that and she's just crazy. But still, most people don't have constantly dilated eyes so it could be drugs too.

I've been out of my zoloft for 2 weeks now ( communication problems between doctor and pharmacy) and I'm having a really hard time but I would NEVER hurt one of my puppies. Yes, that woman clearly needs some kid of help but we're feeling sorry for the puppy because she was a completely innocent being in that whole thing. The man who is now giving that baby the life she deserves is truly a hero. The ONLY thing getting me through right now is the love and patience I get from my fur babies and my husband.
