Woman Is Shocked After Builder Leaves Halfway Through The Job And Texts Her A Very Unsettling ‘Explanation’
InterviewReplastering the kitchen doesn’t sound like that big of a deal, so one woman asked for recommendations before hiring a builder to help her out. All seemed to be going fine until, three days into the job, the man packed up his stuff and left.
Naturally, the woman started wondering what could have happened for the worker to leave so abruptly without completing the job. She then messaged the man to ask when he would be coming back and what happened next went beyond words. In an X-rated response, the guy described a scary and explicit scenario that sent chills down her spine.
She then posted the screenshots on the Girlsmouth Facebook group with the caption “I messaged him this morning to end up with this reply. I was in that much shock, I didn’t respond. Any suggestions, ladies?” Luckily, people in the group shared some advice on what to do in this creepy case.
After the builder left the job unfinished, the woman wrote to ask him what happened and this is what he replied

Bored Panda reached out to Chloe Todd, a social media influencer and administrator of the Girlsmouth Facebook group to find out what she thought of this creepy case. “My initial reaction, I thought ‘OMG, that is like a movie! How hilarious is that!’”
Chloe said that initially when members started commenting, “a lot of them thought it was funny”. Soon, however, the commentators “made everyone sit and realize actually that’s really not ok, and actually very unprofessional and in some people’s eyes, scary.”
She then posted the screenshots on a Facebook group and this is what people had to say about it
The woman, who’s also the founder of the Girlsmouth group, said that she set it up three years ago as a fun local group for girls to get together. Surprisingly, “it went CRAZY and blew up after a viral story went around about one of our admins and a lifeguard, and then another which you might have seen before which caused some controversy on what color a shoe was. It made it to E! News… haha!”
As a result, Chloe said that the admins had to put a hold on member requests for about 6 months. “There was just so many members, we’ve finally started re-accepting people into it again.”
Chloe also added that “I have admins who work voluntarily for me, and I have grown so much from the platform of the group.”
Today, Chloe said that she works as a social media influencer full time, “sharing my own personal life and working with amazing brands, which never would have happened without Girlsmouth!”
“It’s been a hell of a ride and I’m excited for the future of the group and the future stories that will be shared,” she concluded.
Report to Better Business Bureau, to cops, to anyone who will accept a report. Odds are, a guy like that has a history of this. And if he doesn't, now he will!
Why do people have such a hard time keeping work and home separate? Keeping their private lives to themselves? Having the sense to push aside inappropriate thoughts or impulses? This guy is, in a way, telling the woman who hired him JUST to renovate her kitchen, that it’s her fault he won’t finish the job—-she’s too attractive and he’s a child who has zero self-control. I agree with other commenters; report him to the BBB, the police, and the Chamber of Commerce. He’s a creep who just might one day escalate his urges and act on them.
Kathryn, I am not responding to you. I don't know how else to respond to Greta. You are a horrible person to say those things about black people. If you are using one of the writers for Bored Panda's identity, then you are a coward as well.

The cop was completely focused on me and asking if I lived alone and why I didn’t have a boyfriend. And told me if I needed anything at all especially non related to his work to hit him up and gave me his card with personal cell number on it. I did nothing to warrant that type of behavior I was concerned for my apartment and well being and he turned it into something else.
Yup. Some renovators think if you're not living with a man, you're up for "grabs." Literally. It's a really horrible feeling. I've had male friends come over, just so the workers don't try anything--that should not be the case.
This is so incredibly creepy and I would be incredibly concerned that he knows my address. This guy needs some serious therapy. Also as some others have mentioned, I would be calling the Better Business Bureau and the police.
that kind of thing is creepy and uncalled for, can you not control yourself?! the world is full of creeps

This is illegal activity and you can go after his bond for “breach of contract.” As a contractor I’ve heard theses stories too many times. These guys are predators and can be dangerous. They often take advantage of older women on a budget by offering services for “services.” At times they they’ll exhibit this kind of behavior in the middle of a job making the victim feel obligated to oblige in order to get the project completed.
Sex addiction is a real thing. I saw it for myself at a rehab center, a car commercial came up featuring a woman showing off the car, and the one guy who was in the rehab specifically for sex addiction started doing his thing, just by seeing a model on a commercial, that had nothing to do with women, but cars.
Sigh. This is part of the "fun" of being a woman: you talk to a few dozen guys that are perfectly okay, and then you cross paths with a total creep. It's some kind of annoying lottery. I've learned to do a lot of stuff myself to avoid situations like this.
