Guy Left In Tears After Trying To Grope Woman, But Not Everyone Agrees She Has Right To Fight Back Like That

Ladies, too many of us have been there. We’re just having a drink at the bar, or dancing at the club, and some jerk comes over and starts putting his hands wherever he pleases. It just happened to Krystal Olsen, a bartender from New York who works in Arizona, but the way she handled it is something we all need to take notes on.
In the aftermath of the incident, the creep ended up arrested and, hilariously, crying on the ground. His impromptu phone camera mugshot has gone insanely viral on Twitter, with almost 80 thousand retweets and over 355 thousand likes. Though some negative reactions have rolled in from people who clearly don’t understand the meaning of sexual assault, Krystal has been overwhelmingly praised, and her experience is highly teachable.
It’s horrible and shameful that women in 2017 still live with the constant threat of sexual assault, but it’s a reality we don’t have to accept quietly. Learning to defend ourselves is an indispensable skill that can stop attackers in their tracks, and these 5 simple moves are a great place to start. Find out what Krystal did below, read the Internet’s reactions, then add yours at the end!
This NY woman bartending in Arizona had a rough Saturday night, and the result of it has gone viral
The overwhelming majority of the Twittersphere gave her a well-deserved standing ovation…
… But some people were a little unclear on the definition of sexual assault, and had other thoughts
With sexual assault still a top concern for women in 2017, self-defense is more necessary than ever
What do you think? Was she right to fight back, or did she go too far? Tell us in the comments!

Got what he deserved. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
I love that response!!!
Thank you Michel. One of the best comments on Bored Panda. Had to have a giggle though.
The thing that bothers me is a women can say "He grabbed me, He assaulted me etc" and nobody will believe that he didn't. There are (some) women out there that use this on men to get them in trouble for a variety of different reasons. "Equality", making it okay for women to make accusations about a man, or assault a man, but not okay for a man to defend himself. And yet this isn't being seen this as recipe for abuse based on these comments. What if she had made it up, was drunk, led him on, or there was a real misunderstanding? And the authorities laugh it off because it is okay for a women to assault a man. This kinda sh it gives me trust issues.
I agree that this can happen, but I don't think (or at least hope not) that it's the case here. If it were truly the case, I'm sure the guy can voice his side of the story. We're slowly getting closer to that equality part where ladies also will be questioned if the harassement did actually happen. Unfortunatly it will take some more time, until this norm is equal to both men and women. But thankfully the equality is already making big progresses
Led. Him. On. Wut??
Did he say it didn't happen? What does "lead him on" mean, exactly?
Did she have a right? I think she had a right, then a left, followed by a quick right-left combo.
Love your comment! :D
I'm going to quote you, Dan!
i have only only one thing to say as man here: ladies, next time go straight for the balls, kick him so hard that his balls end up in his throat!
Don't kick him quite that hard. You might hurt your foot.
Mr Mc Gropey got served a cool can of whoopass. Great comment!
and a knee to the groin
Well said, sir!
"I'm gonna give you a right, I'm gonna give you a left, I'm gonna give you a kick to the fucking head."

what she did was right!!
Indeed! It is called "self defense".She has the right to defend her PRIVATE parts. She has also avoided the typical "misunderstanding" according to which speaking the word "no" is not enough to stop an unwanted behavior. No one would argue about her reaction had he tried to steal her wallet. She has the right to protect her body and preserve her well-being, she could do it by herself and I hope the moron sitting on the sidewalk has learned a lesson.
Valentina. I agree wholeheartedly that she had the right to defend herself. But the wallet comment is what prompted my response. A few days ago a guy tried to steal a woman's purse in a grocery store parking lot, as he was running away the woman got in her car and hit him with it. While he's not going anywhere, and NOT BEING CHARGED, she is! I'm completely astounded! Apparently, she should have just let him run away with her life in his hands, and cost her hundreds of dollars, in addition to stealing whatever from her, and knowing where she lived.
What part of the word "private" do males that grope women not understand? No woman's back side is public donain.
She was in the right to defend herself, even if it wasn't her ass that he grabbed-- Even if he "only" grabbed her arm, shoulder, whatever, I say she has the right to defend herself with violence. If he's "only" grabbing her arm, she doesn't know what he plans on doing next.
ok so if a woman grabbed MY ass/crotch unwanted, i would be fair in doing the same to her, w/o repercussions? good to know
Shana, petty theft is no excuse for attempted murder with a car. All she had to do was call the police and cancel her credit cards if he wasn't caught right away. That way he would have been thrown straight in jail and she would have had her stuff all back. No need to go all vigilante, that's what we have police for.
