Woman Who Was Called A Monster For Her Head-To-Toe Hairy Moles Might Be The Next Miss Universe
20-year-old Evita Patcey Edgar Delmundo is no stranger to bullying. When she was a child, cruel classmates called her “monster” and “chocolate chip cookie” because of the hairy dark brown moles and birthmarks that cover her entire body, but now the Malaysian, who works part-time at a local cat cafe, is defying the people who taunted her by auditioning for Miss Universe.
“In primary school, no one wanted to be friends with me,” she said. “I remember a teacher having to ask two girls to accompany me during recess, and they were whispering ‘why do we have to treat her like a princess?’ It broke my heart. I told them that they don’t have to follow me and they went off immediately. Basically, I was a lonely girl.”
She told Elle magazine that she learned to accept herself for who she was after attending a church camp when she was 16. “I really learned how to love myself and communicate with others,” said Evita, who had once considered having her moles removed. “This was probably the first time I truly started accepting who I was, how I look.”
Her audition for Miss Universe Malaysia was on June 17, and she’s currently waiting to find out if she’s progressed to the next round or not. But even if she doesn’t succeed, Evita says that it won’t dent her newfound confidence and she’ll continue to enter other beauty pageants in the future. “I’m just keeping my fingers crossed. If I don’t get through, there’s always another platform.” (h/t: dm, elle)

There is a non-invasive way to get rid of these mutated skin cells. I use it to remove moles, and warts, from my face and neck. Its 'Apple cider vinegar'. It takes time, but it is guaranteed to kill off the mutated cells, along with the base mutation. All of these mutations originate from a single skin cell, that grows like crazy. You can either apply the vinegar to a piece of gauze that is taped over the mutation, or you can dab the vinegar on a continual basis. The gauze application is quicker, but it shows. Continual dabbing takes more time, but it too kills the mutated cells. Why? Why would she try to enter Miss Universe? Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But Miss Universe, while selling itself as 'defining what it means to be Confidently Beautiful ', only has conventional beauty at it's core. One glance at previous contestants shows not a blemish between them. It's a measure of perceived conventional beauty, not actual beauty. It's a contest that further contributes to our unrealistic and unhealthy expectations of supposed 'beauty'. "Let's hope she wins!" Screw that, lets hope the show ceases to exist. (Although I'm very happy she has embraced her moles).
That's great and she looks great but I don't think it breaks beauty barriers. She's attractive and has moles. Show me someone with small eyes and a double chin, no lashes, crooked teeth and thin hair, unsymmetrical features and a lopsided nose auditioning for Miss Universe and then we can say standards of beauty have changed.
You have a good point, but a lot of people consider moles 'flaws,' so it's actually a good start.
Load More Replies...Do I find her attractive? Nope. But my opinion doesn't matter in the least. If she is a happy with the way she looks and feels confident enough in herself to audition for Miss Universe than bravo for her.
But would you find her attractive without the moles though? I'm curious!

She's actually beautiful, not as pretty as my wife, who will surely be reading this, but yeah, she's beautiful.
I threw a vote in your direction just because of the mid part of your comment. XD

I think she is beautiful. I have a skin problem as well but my spots aren't as dark as hers. Mine are red from inflammation.
SHE HAS NATURAL POLKA DOTS!!! Idk bout yall but I find that AWESOME!
The only other person I've ever seen with this kind of moles was the nurse at the pediatricians office when I was a child. Mary was perhaps the nicest, most big hearted person I've ever met, and it was an early life lesson about how people can look different than the norm but after you get to know them, you don't even notice because their personality outshines their different looks.
I'm glad she feels good about herself and has learned to love herself.
I think she is incredibly gorgeous. She is sooo pretty!!! I would love to be friends with her honestly. And I think the moles just make her look unique. No one has the right to call her ugly! She should be a proud kookie!! (Get it, because kookie is the nickname of Jungkook, a member of the South Korean boy band)!!!
She is a very pretty girl, and my intuitions say she is pleasant to be around. Diversity makes the world a better place.
What a beautiful girl! Her beauty also shines out from within. Her skin condition has helped to create the woman she is, without it, she would have been a very different person. People are too quick to judge on a superficial level. I also love her little Devon Rex cat!
Your so Beautiful. Don't let no one tell you anything different. If you need a date I would love to date you
....i would've at least gotten rid of the more 3d ones, since they'd just be annoying to me. (especially one there on the lip) but I guess she's used to them?
I think she looks absolutely beautiful and the moles and birthmarks make her look unique!! 😍
With that many I would see about having them slowly removed. moles can sometimes turn into cancer and with that many I think it would be a huge risk to keep them.
If she has no problem with the moles, than as long as they don't pose a health problem, she should stay the way she is, a unique individual that doesn't conform to the bullies.
The photos raised alarm bells for me since I have had two moles that turned cancerous (now removed).
If I were her and I won, I would just always wonder if it was a "pity crown".
She is a very beautiful young lady that needs to take no notice of all these other jealous people that probably ended up washing dishes for pennies, watch this young lady go forward, good luck lass.
I wanted to write something nasty about her (as usual), but the little cat is so cute that... Ok for once, I shut up.
Thank god, you're usually horrible. Now can you stop trolling other articles?
