Wife Writes Brutally Honest Letter To Husband Before Leaving Him Alone With Kids For The Weekend
Having one kid is tough enough, but having six kids…well…that’s something else. So when Meghan Maza Oeser from Alsip, Illinois, went on vacation for the first time in years, she decided to leave her husband Kevin a useful list of advice and instructions to help him survive the weekend. But as you can see, her “note” is more like one long expletive-laden warning.
“Dearest Husband,” begins the letter. “I’m writing this to you out of love, not fear. I wanted to go over a few things with you before you embark on this weekend alone…with the others. Nighttime, daytime, breakfast time, and somewhere around lunchtime can easily be mistaken for pure HELL, with Satan coming off as a My Little Pony in comparison.” And that’s only the beginning. Read on for the full hilarious text.

Load More Replies...I'm also thinking this. They live together as a family but he's never done anything with the kids? I don't get it either!
Load More Replies...Ouch. She sounds so unhappy to have made all those kids. Condoms also exist eh
I agree. Seems he could have got the snip after the second or third child was born.
Load More Replies...Posted on Facebook isn't "a letter to her husband". It's some horseshit to garner likes from the imbeciles she went away with.
Same thing I thought. Blaming and ridiculing the own family for attention. Pathetic.
Load More Replies...Because if it wasn't on Facebook, how would everyone know how HARD it is to be mom to the children she chose to have?
Load More Replies...They seem very high maintenance. There are only two people to blame for that. Good luck to anyone who marries any one of these girls.
That's exactly what I was thinking about ... Poor guy who will marry one of these girls :)
Load More Replies...Wow, I come a very large family and this would not happen in our house. Not that there wasn't fights over this and that but bedtime was bedtime, no sippy cups to be seen no glasses of water and supper was what it was.
Agree! And we are what was made, none of this personalized meals bs. That's just nonsense adding unnecessary stress.
Load More Replies...Good grief. This is one potty mouth woman. And why is this all news to her husband? Does he live in the basement or another town? Hes never known any of the mealtime issues or the bedtime problems? Stupid c**p i read on here.
Yeah, line about one the kids night gowns being "dirty as s**t, but so what so is she" was it for me. This woman just wants attention.
Load More Replies...Not sure if I appreciate the humor of this. Sure, there are some fun parts in there, but what's the point? Just let the guy figure it out himself. He'll manage.
I find it amazing how parenting is done these days. We ate what was for dinner or you didn't, there was the choice. There was always some pushing of boundaries about bed time, but in the end you knew when it was enough and went to bed. Homework was always done as soon as you arrived home, then chores for the day, they any form of playtime which was always outside.
She has little trust or respect for her husband. What could possibly go wrong?
I don't care who hates me for this, but I say this is a garbage post. First off, this is not a 'letter to her husband.' Unless this woman communicates with her husband via FB, it really just looks like someone screaming for attention. Secondly, these kids are seriously spoiled. If I make something for dinner, everyone eats it, no matter if they like it or not. The kids get a drink before bed and that's it, unless they need to use the bathroom or something like that. If a friend wants to play, they play at our house or the neighbor's house after my permission. Thirdly, are these parents separated or something? I have serious doubts that the husband has no idea what goes on in the house, or like I said, just a yearn for attention. Fourthly, what the heck is purple mac'n'cheese?
Sounds like something out of Your Tango or Mumsnet a vehicle for failed writers who can't write about anything else, do anything else other than write badly and are no good at keeping house or looking after children but just happened to be married with children. Husband's big mistake for marrying her.
Load More Replies...All he did was HELP with the kids. That's why they are SIX. But after that he just watched tv. Lol.
Load More Replies...I guess when you have 6 kids, you talk like a truck driver! (YOU have had too many kids!)
This would be funny if she wrote the letter for someone else, like a grandparent who was babysitting for the first time. Surely her husband knows his own kids?
This seems just a fake letter to get "likes" or get viral or whatever, I don't buy it.
Not sure what this is supposed to mean for the rest of us, but I basically stopped at the part about dinner. Since when do kids dictate what they're going to eat? Isn't that the parents' job to make the food, set it on the table and then they eat it? Yeah, I know kids can be fussy, but there has to be some order established. Seems like the household has too many kids, not enough stimulation or activities that they do together, and completely lacks discipline. MO and really none of my business, except this showed up on my Facebook feed.
Everyone should get the same and learn to like it or shut up.

I found this pretty funny. Love how the wife left out no detail. I really hope these girls are not actually this high maintenance though, because the people who raised them would be to blame. When my sibling and cousins were kids and our big family lived together, we ate whatever the hell was cooked for us, we didn't get to make any special individual requests.
Yeah. A simple. "Things are going to be tough. Good Luck babe you'll learn as you go along I trust you. "
Wasn't impressed at all by it. It was not funny or cute or anything or brutally honest. Everyone's family is different but seriously that sucks if you have to tell your husband every single little detail. That's a letter you write to the baby sitter not your husband.
Ummmm weird. They have six children together and he knows nothing about them or any of their habits or likes and dislikes? WTH
I am a single mother of 8, 7 under the age of 18 and one adult, she described my day perfectly lmbo????
Don't get it wrong I love my kids but with 2 of them being autistic, the part about having to prepare different things to eat sounded like me lol
Load More Replies...Why are there so many father's who need to be instructed on how to take care of their own children? My son's dad flew with him to Los Angeles for a weekend, when he was only 6 months old. I didn't have to write him a letter... Baffling.
surprise answer, they dont! at least most of us dont, this post is b******t, its nothing more than public shaming via facebook in order to impress her chavvish mates and get a few laughs at her husbands expense, and those kids are kind of spoiled imo.. different things for dinner, no way, not in my house!
Load More Replies...It was a cute letter till, all the f**k this and f**k that. The worst was referring to her daughter s as "that girls sweats like a whore in church", really mom, you couldnt think of a more appropriate metaphor?
And also giving them surnames as first names which at a push should only be used to name boys. Quinn can't possibly be a girl's name.
Load More Replies...So happy i have one kid..... and yes im trying to keep it that way. But seems like the parents letting the kids rule the household.
Someone who clearly doesn't know how to discipline kids so they behave.
hmm, maybe he really never helped out with the kids before! but I dont think so, to me this looks like she's just taking the p**s out of him publicly on facebook just to impress her horrible chavvish mates shes going on holiday with, and tbh, if the letter is for real shes making a really big issue out of showing the world how hard it is to look after the 6 kids she chose to have.. attention seeking b*titch, seriously, I was there just as much as my sons mum when he was little, and pretty much every other guy I know who has had kids was the same, and yeah, it does sting a bit when the stereotypes about guys never helping with the kids gets thrown around.. especially as ingrained sexism means it is pretty much always believed, at least believed by the other sexist females the story is being spun to O.o
This lady seems to know her kids really well. Where is everyone's sense of humour.no ones families are perfect and I bet her hubby laughed
Uz are all being a bit harsh it's just a bit of fun between her and her husband so she shared it on Facebook I've seen ppl share a lot worse, her kids arena spoilt......just being kids, they will try and get off with anything and argue over nothing
I think this woman wanted to write a funny, witty and brutal take on parenting and put in the form of a letter to her hubby hoping it would go viral and get her on Goodmorning America. SHE FAILED.
She even fails at being funny. Seems to me that she has no other skills other than writing and she can't even do that properly. Just another idiot who trapped a man into marrying her and popped some kids out so she didn't have to work.
Load More Replies...If that's normal life...God Bless the Mother. Sorry I can't copy this letter...it's a scream!
Sounds like my wife, and I only have two. That poor woman, and that guy, 1 vs. 7?!?! He's screwed proper!!!
Or......maybe she was just having a little fun with her husband. Lighten up people and stop being so judgemental.
A pretty bad joke at that. She tries to be funny as that's all she can do. She even fails at that. Boasting about how hard it is to look after children and using foul language is just not funny but many wannabee female comedians think it is. People only laugh to be polite. Women for centuries have managed to raise large families without a fuss and without the labour saving gadgets that most households have now. Imagine having to wash laundry by hand, draw water from a spring outside and cook everything from scratch. Even mothers in the 50's were working non stop from dawn to dusk looking after home and family.

This was so much fun to read! ‘Just start drinking now!’ 😂 Love the sense of humor!
I think we shouldn’t judge their relationship. This is how they communicate and they all get along and they all love each other in the end, that is all that happens. We should not judge someone’s family just by the way she writes to her husband. There is something called humour in this.
Salute to all women. Honestly u always doing a very had job at home especially when having rude kids like them, surely sometimes u need to rest and have fun and atlist 1 day to forget the home duty. Being a mother is more than giving birth.hahaahaaa thank you love u mothers
Wow! So judgmental! The whole lot of you! I don't care what any of you whiny *bleeping bleeps* think, this was FUNNY! As it was supposed to be, of course. It's called a joke! And, no, the f-bombs don't bother me, nor should they bother you. Stop being such stuck-up prudes. Relax, unpucker, and stop freaking out because someone cussed on the internet!
more like #patheticmum ! most likely he works a lot and helps out as much as he can while not working, she now realises that having 6 kids is really hard work and rather than at all blame herself for bad choices, she simply chooses to publicly humiliate her husband for a cheap laugh and the approval of her chavvete friends, I mean, it could be true and he really could be a lazy twat who doesnt help, but likely its BS!

Oh for God's sake ladies, it is hilarious! The father obviously works and the mom like most including myself are in charge of the details when it comes to the kids. With surnames for girls and the mother not being able to write anything without abusive language no wonder they act up all the time. I thought Quinn, Harper and Bailey were boys.
They have 5 daughters and 1 son...just checked her fb profile. And from the letter its sound like she is just joking about real mom struggel . And i found it funny and good on her side that she is a good mother. She KNOWS her children. You can not be perfect parent because kids are kids ans so damn unpredictable. So when she say purple mac and cheese I think it like" yeah my daughter wanted a moon once" i mean really my daughter is 3 year old and she really wanted a moon. And i let her cry it out. So yeah. What ever she has written is true in one way or another wether the father knows his children or not. And yeah my kids are not spoiled either.
I feel like people posting do not have children I might be wrong but I have 2 girls and this sounds about right I would jump out of a moving vehicle if I had 6. And I mean that with love. Letter is still amusing
I have four children and they do not act like this because I don't let them. In our house, you don't get what you want by fussing for it or being a brat. We set rules and fussing doesn't change the rules. It just seems to me these kids don't know the rules or maybe there just aren't any. No wonder mommy sounds like a frazzled mess. It's easier to keep them in line in the first place than try to get them back in line once the craziness starts.

You mothers (or non-mothers) are so critical of other moms, it's awful. The kids aren't "spoiled" they are strong willed or just over-stimulated when the mom isn't there to defuse their stress of the fact that their MOM ISN'T THERE. Most kids are 10x worse when the parent they are most comfortable with and who "gets them" is away. That's a given. And a mom knows what they will pull without her there. It's okay to laugh, to see this for what it's worth instead of tearing this mom to shreds over a silly message sent to her husband to likely get him to get a clue of what she deals with, but likely with love and a bit more patience.
I've just read an amusing story. It was written to be just that. People, lighten up!
But it is not funny or perhaps the irony was lost in the translation. If those were my kids they would not be dictating individual dinner menus of unhealthy food. Sorry. This was in my Facebook feed, and everyone has a right to interpret and comment any way they want. As you just did.
