This Japanese Woman Uploads Photos Of How Messy Her Husband Is At Home, And Here Are 39 Of The Best Pics
In any relationship, there’s always someone who is tidier and someone who is messier. If life were a situational comedy, a laugh track would play every time a spouse asked their significant other to please, please, for the love of God, wash the dishes, there’s stuff growing on the plates and I swear it just looked at me and moved. Alas, life isn’t a sitcom and our partners sometimes cut corners when it comes to cleanliness.
One couple that has very different understandings of what does and doesn’t mean keeping the house clean is from Japan. The female half of the couple found an innovative way to argue with her husband about the mess he leaves behind. She created an Instagram account called ‘Gomi Sutero’ (‘Throw Away Your Trash’) where she uploads photos of the mess her hubby leaves behind.

I think this guy has been like this his whole life. Maybe he tried aiming for the bin but he's not so good at it? Well, everything was a close shot.

‘Gomi Sutero’ obviously strikes a chord with a lot of people, as there are more than 587,000 fans on Instagram. Now, there are obviously some strange things that the woman’s husband does, like sticking an electric razor into a roll of toilet paper or leaving confetti all over the floor. Stuff like that is bound to trigger somebody’s OCD.
However, some things that his wife gets mad about seem like honest mistakes. Like leaving a tiny piece of seaweed stuck to a bowl or accidentally dropping a contact lens on their child’s play mat.

I find Japanese men messy. I see them in hotsprings, gym etc and a lot of them don't clean after themselves. However, some of those pictures, if true, seem to be done on purpose ... Maybe to annoy the wife? I mean, there is "not cleaning" and "finding a way to leave a mess".
Really? Come see what my husband does lady. I have had to scream, "Why are there dirty socks on my kitchen counter!!" And, "Why is there a switch blade sticking out of my wicker basket on the floor! We have babies, you can't leave that there!"
I can so relate to this. I lived with a guy for about a year and he was just like this. I was forever tripping over his shoes in the night when I went to the toilet and he had just left them in the middle of our bedroom floor. He used to shave and cut his hair in the bath and then just leave it, but what used to annoy me the most was when he left wet towels on the bed after a shower or bath, it wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't always my side of the bed.

After staying with my Japanese boyfriend for the last couple of months, I can understand her frustrations because my guy does the exact same things and it is driving me crazy. Suddenly I have such empathy for Japanese housewives.. Don't get me wrong; Japanese men are some of the sweetest you could ever meet, but when it comes to these kinds of things, they can be incredibly inconsiderate. To the people calling her uptight; these are little things, but when you deal with them every day, they add up real quick. It doesn't matter if it's leaving a drop of milk in the carton so that he won't have to go through the trouble of throwing it out, or if it's leaving a fine layer of protein powder all over the floor I spent an entire day scrubbing and cleaning.
